I'm not a pro, but I have done A LOT of electrical home improvement projects.
Read a lot of reviews on this and competing products. Went with this one mainly because the cutting head was angled better for cutting the shielding.
Read the instructions and tried right way with some 12-2 wire. It worked quite well. Then upped it to two sets of 12-2 and learned it will take a little practice. The stripping is quite good and the twist is pretty clean. Interested to see how it holds up with the project I have planned. It is solid and and seemingly durable.
The material is decent quality. The polish and finish is lacking as there are still machining burrs all over it from the manufacturing process. Minor point, but for the price, expected it to be a little cleaner.
Expecting it to work well and hold up. Will update this review later if it doesn't!

Found this a little cumbersome to use. Does not really strip the insulation as indicated. I just ended up using pliers - faster and easier. I was using 12 and 14 gauge wire.

The product took a right off working well for me. The main thing is to grip the wire with pliers closely to the tool and you will not have any issues. I have seen on you tube many people complaining and not getting it to work right. If you grip the wires right with pliers you will be happy with it.

You see these things in action online and you think it's going to work perfectly the first time. This works as long as the stars align and you're not rushing things. Thus it actually isn't as useful as you imagine. Gimmick product, not for professional use. That said, when it works, it works well...so take this review for what it's worth.
