Got the All Purpose Pads and the are working great for my son. Needed more mobility than he was getting from the pads issued by the High School. He especially likes the larger straps which let him get a nice tight fit but still stay flexible. Sizing was spot on if you follow the chart and measure correctly.

These are very nice pads but the shoulder width is not the only thing you need to take into consideration when getting them....if they are on the thinner side (my son is 6'2 145 pounds) then you need to get youth sized pads to fit correctly.
