For the price this horn isn't bad. It is very straight with little curve and when blown into there is leakage around the base plug. The carving that is done is crude to say the least. After saying all this I didn't expect a lot form this because of the price. I expected I would have to pull the base plug and seal it. As for the carving, I bought this to attempt scrimshaw. I am not upset in any way with this since it is exactly what I expected. With a little sealing around the base plug this would be useable.
