Ordered xl for riding my motorcycle the sleeves are kinda short but good if you have gloves with long cuffs, it's a bit snug on the chest with just a shirt under, I ride mostly at night and always have a hoodie or sweatshirt on so may go 3xl just for that, but it's great for casual nightly jacket, if you plan to use it as a work or anything involving stretching or lifting definitely go bigger

Bought this for my teenage son who walks to work when it's dark and I wanted him to be safe. He's very concerned about his image so I thought this coat wouldn't look cool enough for him to wear and we would fight about it. Turns out, he loves it!!!! It's SOOOO reflective! It's very thin so he can fit it in his locker at school easily, but it's also pretty warm. Total bonus that it's water resistant. He's been wearing it for a few months now and it's good quality. This is such a great product and very affordable, I think everyone should get one if you're going to be walking/biking after dusk. I did buy one size large than my son normally wears which was perfect.

Bought this for my husband. He wanted something bright for riding his bike. This seems to do it. It is only for daylight riding, I doubt it would show in the dark. I bought XL so he could wear it over a sweatshirt because it is only a windbreaker.

Was compelled to write a review after reading several stating the zipper pocket was not real. Mine, at least, is (also two side pockets are real). The only issue is the main zipper is on the opposite side of most men's jackets (is it a European thing?). Doubtful anyone would ever notice unless they were wearing it themselves. My XL fits well (regular large sizes fit tight so most always order XL). I like the look of light grey on black in the daytime, even if it is intended for night reflectivity.
