We have used one of these GE lights 24/7 for 4-5 years now. It's kept plugged in the same place unless we need to use the flashlight mode. It works well as a flashlight and it's so helpful to stay lit and easily visible during a power outage. If we wake in the middle of the night, there's just the right amount of light from just one of them in the living room to see our way from any bedroom into the hallway, living room, dining room, bathroom and kitchen. There's no need to turn on any other lights to get a drink of water or snack. In the morning we switch it to the off position until bedtime. The light is not too bright to hurt your eyes or keep you from falling asleep. My husband likes pitch black to sleep well and I need a bit of light. This was a good compromise.
My in laws are in their 80's and my father in law is on home dialysis. Recently they had a power outage and had trouble finding a flashlight in the dark that worked. They were so frustrated over the mess they had when the dialysis machine made a mess. They had to have the carpets steam cleaned the next day. We knew they wouldn't have that problem again with these lights plugged into each side of their bed. They're always charged and ready to be used as a flashlight. If the night light mode is off, there's a very small colored light that's visible in the dark. We ordered a pack of 3 so they'd always have enough light in the room to care for their needs during a power outage.

They have worked OK for about a year so far.

Better light sensor than other night lights I have.

The lights are supposed to work on a power failure if set in auto. After a week of installing these, I had a power failure and only 2 would turn on, the other one failed. It works when power is on. Other than that, I must say these are a must. Not only can they function as night lights, they are also an emergency back up that I rely on. Very easy to use and carry.

These do what they say, and provide a night light as well as power failure emergency light. However, be aware they block the second plug spot in a 2 plug receptacle. I should have paid better attention to the pictures. Thought I read a review mentioning they did not block. Not a deal breaker, but will need a different light for areas where I need to use the second plug on a regular basis.
