I wanted to get an inexpensive light weight light box, as I've started to do calligraphy. This is perfect. Can be held on lap, or moved to any room. It has several levels of brightness which is helpful. Very thin so it's easy to take along or store. I also can use it for some of mywatercolors.

I ordered this after seeing my mother's and hearing how much she liked it. I can see why! Very light and thin. The cord it comes with is a little short so you may want to use your own. I used mounting putty to hold my paper and it rolled right off no problem when I was done. I have a small workspace and this light is just perfect for me!

I was surprised at how thin the board is, it feels fragile. I'm glad it has three brightness settings. The cord only plugs into a USB outlet, and fortunately we've added them to our house, but it would be nice if it used a regular electrical outlet or took batteries.

I have nothing to say other than it does what it says it does. Has three dim functions, comes with a plug and usb cord so you can either plug it into your computer or directly to a socket. Very light and was easy to use. Just wish it came with a stand

As you can see in my photo, I connected it to a cell phone battery pack for the power source. (It does not have an internal battery.... it must be powered from a wall wart or computer.) Wowser! Works great! Even on the low brightness setting, it is more than adequate for tracing. I dare say, it may even work as a light source for photography, if one wanted a 'soft light.
It's cheap enough, so why not? BUY IT!
