Product was 100% what I expected. As anticipated the "nails" your supposed to use are garbage. For Easier installation use screws and then you wont have to worry about the wind blowing them off. Overall I would buy this product again.

Flexible. Put a nail every 3". I put the Ridge right on the edge of the garage door jamb. That's too close. Had to move it away from the door another quarter inch. That takes longer than the first time. Wish I'd known about that starting out. I had to increase down force on the opener a little to counteract the extra friction.
Hoping the seal will stop some of the snow that gets around the door edges at the bottom.
It helps to have pliers with a groove to hold the small nails.

Not as nice as the boards with this already installed for around your garage door but a good cheap option. Good luck getting it to look good if you're picky.

Key to success with this product is getting a line on the frame/trim around the door where the seal is flush against the door with a little pressure, and then working with the door open to do the nailing. I found that using a couple screws with wide flat washers (stainless or galvanized) at the start of each section is a great deal easier than trying to nail a loose end, especially on the top seal. It secures the seal so you can proceed without it wandering too much. I sprayed some silicone lubricant on the rear of the seal that's in contact with the door to reduce friction, because the pressure of the seal does add load to the the door opener. Happy with the reduction in air intrusion.

Update after 2 years: the seals have held up well despite being exposed to Florida sun, which can destroy plastics very rapidly. They've maintained their pliability and have been especially helpful during the tropical storm season; wind and rain don't get past the seals. They also prevent bugs/critters getting in around the sides of the door - there's not a peep of sunlight coming in around the door, so they've sealed it up nicely.

Night and day. Perfect. Easy to install. Did not use the nails it came with. Got 1/2 inch screws from Amazon. Installed it over the old vinyl seal that was not making a tight contact to the garage door. What a difference. 1. Stretch it a bit and drill the screws every 5 inches apart. 2. Install the top first 2. Cut the side top corners about 45 degrees so it does not overlap. Could not ask for more. I installed it with garage closed so that it could make a tight seal. 100% recommended. I don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from. Buy it. You won't regret it.
