The machine appears good. I will not know of its ability until the first snow. Tough to tell in September.

Am 69 years old, 5'2" tall and simply cannot handle a heavy, gas powered snow blower. Every one I've tried was designed for taller people who have great upper body strength. I was delighted to find this little blower and figured I'd give it a try. It's mid March and, even here in Milwaukee, winter is on its way out. We had an inch and a half of wet snow today and it handled it very well. Of course the chute started to clog several times but giving the machine one little tap on the ground now and then easily cleared it out.

To test the battery, I cleared my entire property which is situated mid-block plus the next door neighbor's. It was still going so I did the city sidewalk all the way to the corner. When I finished and put it back onto the charger, it still had one bar left. An inch and a half of snow around here is barely anything, of course but I wanted to make sure it worked. When we get dumped with our typical 8" snowfalls next winter, I figure the charge will certainly last for my property at least.

All in all, I'm really happy with this machine. It fits me well and the push bar hits me at the hip area where my strength is. I don't have to try to muscle it with my shoulders. I could probably handle the 20" unit as well but it's difficult to know when buying online.

Also, in starting the machine, push the start button and hold it in for a couple of seconds before pulling the handle lever. It didn't start when I moved them simultaneously, in the wrong order, or too quickly. Easy does it!

I like it

I really liked how easy it was to put this together. It seemed heavy-duty and stable. There were no parts missing. It seemed to be good quality. The handle is metal and wide which I liked. It hasn't snowed yet so I only know from the videos I watched on YouTube how it works in the snow.

For the last two Winters I have been snowed in heavily living in Upstate New York. Once I was snowed in for a basic normal forefoot snowfall for 5 days because I couldn't shovel the heavy snow, and no Neighbors in my area are actually neighborly. Now that every located to a larger home with a longer area to shovel as well as a long driveway I knew I needed a snow blower but I don't have snow blower money and I came across this.. let me tell you I got a put sidewalk done and a half an hour. This little thing is mighty! My 7-year-old also knows how to use it now and he fights with my 14-year-old over who gets to shovel with the snow shovel! I will say what save money on this is the fact that it's needs to have an extension cord so I would definitely invest in extremely long outdoor extension cord that you would keep with it. In my opinion spending $30 on a good cord is way less expensive than having to spend an additional $200 for a built-in cord! The last snowfall that came my kids made 140 bucks by going around to the neighborhood and snow shoveling for $10 or 20 bucks depending on the size of the area needing to be shoveled. having one available for the Elder family member who needs a little bit of help but still insists on doing everything themselves and then he saw Karen titoff seems like a great idea to me and it's so inexpensive it's definitely going to be early Christmas gifts next year!
