Harvested lavender plants - saved our backs

We own and operate a lavender micro farm in Northern Arizona. This was our first year of a full harvest for distilling organic essential oils. Processing 500 plants can be a back breaking ordeal so my wife and I read reviews for nearly every battery operated trimmer out there. We eventually settled on buying this Greenworks model with the additional add on purchase of an extra battery.
Here are the results:
A fully charged battery allowed us to easily trim approximately 120 lavender plants.
The trimmer is well balanced and smooth to operate.
Handle and trigger give excellent and comfortable ergonomic control.
Power to spare when cutting through the flower stems, and the cuts were very clean.
We couldn't be happier with our new trimmer. Harvesting all of our plants over a period of just three days could have been daunting had we attempted processing without the Greenworks battery operated trimmer.
Note: to keep the cutters in like-new condition we would clean them with soap and water after every day's use followed up with a light application of lithium grease for the next trimming session.

This hedge trimmer is fantastic. It is easy to use and the battery lasts a long time. I am a 119 lb woman and can use it very several hours without my arms tiring too much. It does a great job on box and holly.

We have canary grass on our farm that grows 6' tall with hard canes. In the spring if we wait too long, we can't weed eat through the canes, so I got this to help power through the stuff. It chips it down in no time. It goes though young blackberry vines too. (The older woody canes are too thick for the blades). I have a bucket of charged batteries and switch them out to finish the job for the day, then recharge them overnight with my bundle of recharger bases and I am ready to go again. The battery doesn't last as long as the weed eater (string cutter) because there is a bigger moving part, but it is doing a job the weed eater can't do. So I am thankful. I also love that the handle can rotate to make the angle easier for holding while you cut.
This was worth the investment.
I chose this to use the same batteries my weed eater uses so i do the same thing when I go out with that to do my chores. The extra batteries and charger bases are worth it to reduce your down time while they recharge.
