Overall, this is a great hedge trimmer. I put it to work on some pines in the yard and a couple of other plants. It did a great job. The nice long blade lets you make pretty even and flat cuts. Batteries charged well and seemed to hold the charge and work well. Construction is out of semi-cheap feeling plastic, but it's holding up nicely. There is a safey, a couple of them, to ensure that you've got your hands in the right place before you can engage the blade and it will cut off if you move your hand. I like that. While you still need to be mindful while operating these things, if you do slip, you're not looking at instant injury. I thought the blades could stand to be a bit sharper, or maybe the motor needs a little more torque. I would occasionally hit, very small, tiny even, branches that gave this thing trouble (we're talking less than a centimeter in size). Still, very functional and easy to use. It got the job done.

I haven't used this much but it has done a pretty good job taming and shaping up the overgrown shrubs at my moms. For the most part is has cut through everything, but the shrubs are somewhat small, like boxwood. The battery life is ok, I give out way before the battery does, and it does recharge quickly in the event my energy levels hold out. It is a little awkward to handle, but not too bad and it has a better reach that my little handheld electric plant scissors. Not having a cord has been a big help on this specific project as the shrubs are overgrown and there are large weeds everywhere and a cord would just get tangled up in the mess and I'd end up accidentally cutting it with the trimmer. The grip is adjustable to some degree so that could lessen the awkwardness of trimming stuff that is on the tall side. I hate doing yard work, but thisis a pretty handy tool that has cut down on the amount of time it takes, which is much appreciated.

I have a corded hedge trimmer that I use once in a while, mostly because it's corded so it's a pain to drag the extension cord everywhere. I've been wanting to upgrade to cordless but had concerns about battery runtime, I'll just say I'm not disappointed.

I expected some loss in power going cordless and while that's true here, as long as I avoid the thicker branches this hedge trimmer handled everything I threw at it flawlessly. Not having to worry about the cord means I can get into more places, and despite the battery it's surprisingly lightweight in terms of magnets. I used it for over 30 minutes and covered half my yard, the battery meter remained at 3 bars. I probably could have finished the entire yard but I was running out of room in my yard waste bin.

To turn on the trimmer, you have to first press the security lock, then the on/off button and finally the trigger switch. I find it easier to operate the security lock and on/off switch with my right hand and the trigger switch with my left, it's a little awkward when switching hands since I'd use the edge of my index finger to engage the security lock. I also found you have to have a right grip on the on/off button or the trimmer turns off. I suspect it's a safety feature but it's hard to use at certain angles, causing the trimmer to repeatedly turn on and off which was a little frustrating. However, one safety feature that I'm totally behind is how quickly the trimmer stops when the trigger is released, minimizing any risk of unintended cuts after powering off.

The included 1 hour battery charger topped up the battery quickly, and while I might have wanted the two battery option I think I'll do just fine with one, which is significantly less expensive than the two battery option.

The media could not be loaded. This did what I needed for my small bushes-thicker twigs would be tough! It's very light and very long- this can reach out very well. Had to install the safety and it works to perfection. That was it for assembly! I like the location for the safety compared to others I have owned. The battery looks small but lasted my entire back yard. Lightweight- pretty sharp and did a quick job on our smaller bushes. It's a good tool for home and just understand the limitations on larger bushes!

I have wanted a trimmer for a while and this one works great for my bushes. Most branches are small enough to cut with the trimmer and it cuts right through them without hesitation. It is also pretty quiet, so as to not bug the neighbors when I am trimming at 9 PM, since I get home late.
The batteries charge fast and run for quite a while. I am really happy with this trimmer.
