Now that I've used it for about 10 days it is really a great toaster took several days to get the settings adjusted for the perfect toast and english muffins and like most toasters it does have a "hot" spot again I've now learned how to use it so I don't get any too toasted spot. I wish the cord was a little longer since I live in an older home the outlets were not really placed for todays appliances or if the cord came out the back it would reach barely. Makes toast fast and pops it up nicely I haven't had a toaster since my last single slot one died could never find one in my price range with the controls in the front so I'm very pleased.

After reading negative reviews on very expensive brands and having recurring problems in my decades of using toasters, I determined that having two or more slots together is an inherent flaw because inner and outer heating elements do not produce the same temperature nor are they subjected to the same heat wear. Also, I wanted a long/wide slot and had a very limited counter space. After several months of use, am very satisfied with my choice.

This is perfect for a small counter top as you can put if flush agains the wall. The down side is that there is no easy way to open up the bottom to remove crumbs. It looks like I need a screw driver....
