I was anxious to get this product. I wanted it to sew into my wallets and Purses I make. I really don't know how to test it so I devised my own system. I placed my cell phone between 2 layers of the fabric and then called it from another phone. Went straight to voicemail. When I uncovered one side the phone would ring. if I placed my phone half in it would ring unless I turned the phone around. (I guess it has a receiving end) When I turned the phone around it did not ring. I don't know of any other way to test it without purchasing a RFID reader which might tempt me to me and I would give up sewing and take to a life of crime and I probably wouldn't be very good at it and would get caught and then you would have to pay for my food, board and medical while I served time in the big house. If any of you know another way to test it let me know. BTW, It is sewable.
All joking aside, my 'day job' is often faced with identity theft. I can spout facts for an hour on the subject. I already protect my scanable cards with RFID blocking holders but I wanted something that was less idiot proof. Most of my clients who have been victimized with identity theft could have avoided it by being less careless with their information. Your identity can be stolen in the most benign places. I was asked to fill out a credit card app at a local clothing store. I filled out the info and handed it to the clerk who laid it on the sales desk, face up and walked away. Wow! My alarm bells kicked in and I asked for the paperwork back. I realized I gave a total stranger, who is paid, at best, a little over minimum wage all the information she needed to steal y identity. She was pretty upset with me but I asked her how many Ethics courses did she take. I take a minimum of 6 credit hours each year but usually twice that amount plus teach an Ethics course.
I will probably buy this product again. I understand that other products, like aluminum foil, can work but who wants aluminum foil in their wallet.

I bought this to see if I would sleep better blocking all the EMF noise. I live in a busy area. many mobile phones, many, very many WiFi channels. ELF, is not applicable for a Faraday cage which is essentially what my objective was.

I slept better, maybe placebo effect, i later got a GQ390 meter and discovered that the actual levels were low. All the metal cabinets and desks are effectively a great Faraday cage. One side effect, benefit. is this is an excellent heating blanket. Anyone remember those Mylar survival blankets?
This material is a tight woven metal. I blacks heat from escaping!! much better than an electric blanket! be sure to sew/hem the ends. Layer on a fleece fabric to prevent the creasing and discoloring what occurs if only this material. If using for a grounding device. PLEASE make sure there is a 1mega ohm resister between electrical and the fabric attachment

Thin but powerful. I lined a few things with this stuff and it blocks key fobs and phones. The tape they send is about 18 inches and its not very sticky. I bought copper rfid blocking foil tape from another company to tape some joints. I would recommend a double layer for better phone blocking. Its not sturdy as I want it to be so I recommend lining your bag or box with this then a layer of some other cloth or shelf paper etc.. to protect it. 5 stars would have been given if they would have managed great blocking with one single layer. Overall I would still recommend it

Stapled these sheets to my son's bedroom wall that were facing the cell towers. The readings went from over 15 mW/m2 to below 1 mW/m2. I use the Tri-Field EMF Meter model TF2 on the RF setting. I would've loved to see the readings go to Zero, but this gives us much more peace of mind knowing the readings are significantly lower.

Covered them over with the faux brick stick-ons to make the room look less sci-fi.

We also stapled a few pieces behind artwork and picture frames to help deflect as much rogue EMF energy as possible.

For those trying to reduce the risk of really high RF energy in living/sleeping spaces - I would highly recommend this product.
