It took my cats a few weeks to get used to the mat, But now that they are used to it I will tell you it works! I used to vacuum every day, there was litter spread all over the room. Now, I would say that scattered litter is reduced by about 95%. I only empty the mat about once a week. Truth told, this is the least convenient part of the product. The litter is difficult to get out of the mat. The litter wants to collect on the seam of the mat when you pour it out. That aside, its nice to have a product that actually works.

This goes a long way in keeping litter grains off my floor. I have much less scatter and less to clean. I love that they offer color options. I was able to get a mat that blends in nicely with my floor. Also gives a little cushion if I need to put a knee or knees on the floor while scooping the litter box. Yes, it comes folded (at least the larger ones) but it's really NOT that big a deal to get it to flatten out. I set a heavy toolbox where the folds had been. Left in one place for a day. Adjusted where the toolbox sat each day to get all the folds smooth. After about 4 days, it flattered out. Placing it under your mattress would probably work well for this, too. As to the foam smell some people complained about: It's just like anything brand new straight from the factory. It dissipates and you can no longer smell it after a day or two. I've tried several other types of litter mats over the years, and this one is the easiest to clean and definitely looks the nicest. I would definitely recommend this.

I've been using this Mat for the last year and it honestly couldn't be more than we would have hoped for!
Suggestion: I recommend the bigger size if you can afford the space will capture more dust/litter that is spread. Also the higher surface area allows to have to sweep less in general.
Before using this our cat would track all over the place clumping litter and dust. What's great about this Mat is that anything stuck to their paws usually get's trapped in the mat before it is able to leave the mat.
The only negative I can find is the emptying process of the debris in the mat could be better. Due to the nature of being a mat when you need to empty it can be kinda awkward to aim it a the trash can without missing or dusting other parts of the area.
Pro Tip: If you are able to make a slight fold through the middle so that the mat looks like a slide you'll have an easier time aiming the debris while emptying but you'll need to put you hand inside the mat so if you feel yucky by touching the debris/litter in the mat this tip may not work for you
One final comment is that this isn't a magical solution that will trap ALL your litter that is spread, it will drastically reduce the volume that is spread all over, but you'll still need to sweep and you'll finde some litter that will be outside the mat.

At first opening, I noticed the terrible smell and how folded up it was. I was too impatient to wait until it went down so I used a blow dryer on the raised-up parts and it slowly started to go completely down within 10 minutes. The smell also went away the next day. I've used many litter mats and this is the best one it's easy to vacuum and clean. Unlike others I've used in the past where they get stuck. Less tracking and easy clean up will buy it again and recommend it to others.

I wish I had found these a long time ago. I have 3 cats and they seem to spread litter everywhere they go. These pads are large and easy to clean. And while they dont completely catch all littler, they do catch most of it. I would recommend getting the two largest pads and putting them next to each other, which is what I dis because it gives the cats more room to shake off the litter. Great product, A+!
