This toy is super adorable. It has three modes of play: nurture, spin, and dance. In nurture mode, the toy will give kisses for as long as held to your cheek. The tail is mostly just a bracelet. It doesn't really stabilize the toy in any way. It stands on your shoulder with a fairly strong magnet that your place under the shirt. It holds pretty well. Keep hair clear of the toy, bc it does spin pretty fast.
I noticed another review claims there's no off switch. The toy does come with an instruction Manual which outlines 2 methods to turn off:
Normal off: hold the heart on the chest for 2 seconds.
Emergency off: tap the back twice.

I got this item half off of the major dept. stores price here on Amazon which was awesome, and it was a last minute Christmas gift for my daughter so it came came quickly. It's adorable, came in the original packaging and is such a neat gift (batteries included). My 3 year old loves it but honestly I've been playing with it more lol. It dances and does little moves based on how you pet or tap it. I would have given this a 5 but after Christmas we can only get "Aurora" to turn in a circle and twist a little. I don't know what's wrong with it but we're doing the same things as we did when 1st opening it. Overall it's a great, inexpensive gift!
