This product actually arrived faster than promised - so that was a plus even before we tried it!
My wife has used the Dr. Numb topical antiseptic soap to shave with, so we were interested in trying this pain relieving cream out - and it did not disappoint! Neither of us have tattoos or piercings, personally, but we've used it on cuts, scratches and skin irritations - and it worked really well and fast!
Oh, and it came with a pamphlet that described how to use it on your piercings or tattoos - though we don't have either, it was still an interesting read and seemed thorough!
It might cost a a little more than a tube that you'd pick up at a drug store pharmacy or department store, but it's so worth it because it's so much stronger! We'd buy it again and try any other Dr. Numb pain relief products they put out, because they are so fast and effective!

Great to apply before getting a tattoo. I have many pieces all over my body and some and very sensitive areas. This cream works very well to take the edge off and take the level 10 tattoo to level four. Apply very heavily to a clean area and then wrap it in saran wrap taking out all the air. Keep on the arm for at least two hours prior to tattoo session. Right before they are apply though artwork to your arm have them wipe it off with the green soap.

Used this stuff before my tattoo appt, and I swear it's a life changer. I was skeptical with all the bad reviews. I applied at 12 pm with a wrap. Took it off around 2:30. And numbing didn't wear off until about 6 pm. Definitely lasted the 4 hours, if not longer. I would of taken it off sooner, but my mom went first. Please don't get it twisted. If you're getting a tattoo... IT IS GOING TO HURT. but this stuff makes it from a "I'm tapping out" to a "oh god... pain is temporary "... which is a big difference if you're in for a long session.
