Head Falls Offf

I have purchased this shaver several times, hoping each time to avoid the following: I very much like the separate beard trimmer "head" (my term, not Phillips's) which I use twice a week to keep the back of ny neck, ears, and eyebrows trimmed. In other models, the "beard trimmer" is built in and consequently has a much smaller trimming width. Both the beard trimmer and this shaving "head" have a small linesr protrusion on the peg thst inserts into a slot in the shaving body (a bit like a key and lock). The protrusion on the beard trimmer is rigid plastic, but on the shaving "hesd" it is more pliable, presumably so this head can wobble a but to conform to hills and valkeys on my face and neck. The problem is that after many months of use, this protrusion seems to have worn down slightly, either from the shaving head being removed and replaced to accommodate the beard trimmer twice a week or simply from normal movement. And as a result, the head begins to fall out of the shaver body into the sink or onto the floor. It is hard to order replacement parts from their fulfillment center, Encompass if I remember correctly. But if I do locate a head for this shaver, it turns out that the item called a head by Phillips is just the assembly holding the three rotary cutters (the item I separate after every shave to rinse out the depressions into which the cutting units are held since i wet-shave with lather). It is simply not possible to purchase the larger component that I am calling the "head." All to say that the usable life of this shaver is only a few years. A shame !!
Love it

I dont get the bad reviews - short and sweet

I have been using electric shavers for 30 years. I have tried every variety. Also because I am in the vine program I get to upgrade frequently. This one is the best I have ever owned. It is light, ergonomic, quiet and charge lasts forever. After 3 weeks it is still on full charge. The most important feature for me are:

1. Comfort - this is far and away the most comfortable shave I have had. Even old Norelco shavers left my neck raw and red. After shaving with this is like nothing even touched my skin. Amazing.
2. Excellent shave - This offers the closest shave I have had with an electric to date.
3. EASY cleaning - all my old shavers would require work to dig out lint and hair. This is pop-it-open and rinse easy. Totally clean every time. Fantastic redesign.
4. Interchangeable trimmer head. Easily the best trimmer/razor combination I have owned. Literally don't need my trimmer any more.

The negative reviews are complaining about not having a cloth bag to carry it in? or the charger? I don't see that requiring a 1-star review. Those reviews seem needlessly punitive. The charger seems fine. It's the usual docking upright affair. This is a great shaver and I have no regrets about this purchase. Even though I am a Vine reviewer, I paid full price for this product and did not receive through Vine.

A Decent Shave, But Not As Close As I Would Like It To Be
BrianH✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 13, 2023
The razor is quiet and it is easy on my skin. The grip is a little awkward because the blades are angled away from the comfortable hand position. The quality of the shave is passable, but I wish it was a bit closer. After going over my face twice, I still feel some stubble in a few areas, particularly, my throat.

Overall, I like the razor, and I would recommend it. It beats the heck out of using blades on sensitive skin.
Best electric razor I've used
Xfertime✓ Verified PurchaseJune 30, 2023
After years of using the straight double, triple and quadrilple row style of electric razors I took a change in this style. This is the best wheezing razor I have used. The battery life is as expected, by today standards. I have to charge mine after about 5 shaves. I shave ever other day. It's easy to clean, but not as easy as the products video. You will have to disassemble each of the three round disk blades about every 2 to 3 shaves. It's easy to figure out and easy to reassemble. The ergonomics of this device is great. It freaks comfortable to hold and use. It provides more than expected skin comfort, resulting in minimal skin irritation, if any. I use presents pre-electric shave oil, then watch water to finish.
