Works well as a "food holder", but not as well a tray to eat over

I liked it for my 8 and 9-year-olds because they could use it on their own after we showed them how to open and close it, and it met our needs as far as having a place to set food and drinks. They couldn't eat over it, though, and it doesn't seem sturdy enough to withstand the pressure that might be exerted on it by an over-enthusiastic toddler. Many vehicles come with cup holders, but usually not food holders; I think that's pretty much the only advantage, besides it holding two drinks. I've left it in my vehicle for over a month and haven't heard the rattling annoying sound other reviewers reported.

Useful, not super fancy. Came in a pack of 2 with just one strap for each tray and zero instruction on how to install. I guess it goes on the back hanging from the head rest. (Sample pic so you can see this tray is small).
Pro: all plastic so I can just rinse it or wash. The 2 cup holder is very handy. There is a little pocket for tissue.
Con: because it is just one strap, it rattles and makes a lot of noise that is very distracting in the long drive. You can strap it tighter but over time the edge imprints into the seat or cut into the seat.

Good quality at a great price. Great for kids to hold their drinks, tissue and food on the go and on long trips. The only issue we had was that the strap to secure them to the back of the seat does not keep them secure, even when the strap was pulled as tight as possible the trays would move. It would help to have two straps to keep them from moving. We are trying to figure out a way to add a second strap or some Velcro to fasten to the back of the seat.
Works as intended but a little difficult installing.

I bought this for a road trip so the backseat passenger could have something to set their food on in hopes that there would be less mess. The tray is pretty solid and it clicks shut really well. It was difficult to install though. I have a 2015 Buick Enclave and it took a little time to get it just right. It serves it's purpose and gives the passenger a place to put their food or phone or book or whatever. It worked well and it's very compact so you barely notice it's there when it's closed. I would buy again for the other side.
