This is a lifesaver, literally. My kitty has been struggling with difficult to control high blood pressure, due to kidney disease and/or urinary tract infections. Her blood pressure was so high that she become totally blind for 12 hours even with emergency treatment, and recurring high blood pressures have caused her vision to be damaged. Also, her hearing was already gone for years, but with the blood pressure being controlled has come back a little. So I cannot stress enough how important is to monitor blood pressure, especially in older pets!
This is a wonderful product, easy to use and accurate, I compared the readings with the ones at the vet. Every vet should encourage the use of this product! Thank you so, so much for marketing it!

First off: getting a reasonable blood pressure reading on a pet means getting the pet relaxed and calm, keeping it calm and motionless, and repeating the measurement a couple, e.g. three, times. If you can't do that, don't expect any sphygmomanometer to give you an accurate reading. The same is true in humans: motionless for five minutes sitting, feet flat on the floor, no talking, the cuff at the same level as the heart, and having the left arm supported.

You need to match the cuff size to the left limb in question. (Yes, it needs to be the left fore limb, and yes, your pet should be lying down, as the goal is to get the cuff at the same height as the pet's heart.) It helps to look up the anatomy of your pet, so you know where the main artery is.

We did all that, and it has been very reproducible, and matches the values from our human medical grade cuff.

We have found it great for tracking our pet's blood pressure in response to drugs that can raise blood pressure.

As far as I can tell, this appears to be well designed, and thought through, device. It is easy to change the cuff size on the device on the menu. The manual cautions not to have the wrong cuff size set.

Having a blood pressure monitor is something I have found to be critical over the years. Vets don't take blood pressure on their patients unless its requested. I had 2 elderly dogs with heart disease in their older years that I monitored very closely as they aged and the condition progressed. Knowing your pets blood pressure can help you make decisions about the effectiveness of treatments and have data points for talking with your vet. This cuff has been a lifesaver for my dogs, literally. Its surprisingly well made and had everything I needed.

I would recommend buying several replacement cuffs. They are cheap and these small ones don't last very long.
Also, keep in mind it is critical to have your pet calm when you check their pressure. They should also be as motionless as possible. Otherwise, the reading will not be accurate. Take MULTIPLE readings and look for consistency.

Well.... try to make a cat hold still with a pressure cuff on his tail! or front leg! Enough said. I think this is a good product. I actually wish the cuff was a little smaller. I am not sure how accurate it is, but I suspect it is okay. I tried it on calm cat... did not work due to ? thick hair. Even this very lazy cat was not impressed with the pressure cuff sensation. Then I tried it on the more "energetic" cat whose BP I needed to check... haha. I did finally get a satisfactory read of BP. When I took cat back to vet, the BP I got seemed to be in an accurate range. Since the vet charged $58 just to check the BP one time, I think this item is a good purchase for attempts at home BP.

I am able to consistently measure my cat's blood pressure. Numbers correspond to those reported by veterinarian. I can compare data after blood pressure medication is given. It works, although it takes a while to record a measurement. I think it attributes to the patient's hairy complexion. It is useful to watch couple of videos on YouTube. You need to install 4 AA batteries which are not provided. For cats only systolic blood pressure numbers can be relied on, diastolic numbers are not reliable.
