This board is a great price, but there are a few issues.
1. The bamboo is unfinished, so oiling it is wise to stay clean and unstained from and chicken juices or from cutting veggies, otherwise expect discoloration if you don't plan on keeping up with the oiling and maintenance. You also can sand it down every few weeks with a finer grit sandpaper if this happens.
2. The board has warped a bit, even with hand washing with cold water only, so one side rocks on the counter a bit or slids out when cutting because it's not sitting evenly planted on the counter. Putting a cold damp kitchen cloth underneath helps, although it probably doesn't help the warping much haha
Still a great price and a much better alternative to plastic boards that get micro plastics in your food.

This is nice enough. I bought it to use for taco toppings, ie diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro. The "built in compartments" are more shallow that they looked in the pictures. This would make a decent charcuterie board. It is priced reasonably so that a filled one would make a nice hostess gift to leave behind.

Thick, sturdy, and heavy. The size is perfect for a charcuterie board and the 3 compartments work well for crackers and cookies/candy. The board did not absorb any odors from the meats or cheeses. The flip side works well as a cutting board. Would be a nice gift. I did oil and wax the board prior to first use.
