These are perfect for any library of the macabre. Honestly, I think they look even better in person than they do in the photographs. They arrived well-packaged and in great condition and they're now doing a great job of holding up some of my books.
The one thing you might want to be aware of is that, while they're well made and quite sturdy, they're not particularly heavy. If you're worried about heavy books toppling over, you might want to supplement these with either some extra weight or anchor them to a strip of metal extending under the books. On the other hand, if you're just using them to hold two or three average-sized volumes, you'll have no trouble at all.
On the whole, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. They're a welcome addition to my library.

The detail is incredible, they're extremely detailed and colored well. They packed them very well so there was no damage done to them. The size is perfect so they aren't life-size but big enough to noticeable. They also have felt feet on the bottom so they do hold their place pretty well and don't slip around. I haven't had any issues with them not holding up books, they've got enough weight and traction that they can do the job. I'm really pleased, I look at them and admire them at least once a day, they're just what I wanted. I wish I had gotten these things years ago, they're definitely different!
