I was a bit concerned about the quality of the steel, but when I opened the box I could tell the whole thing was well built and good quality. The setup was straightforward. The product came well packaged and all the screws you need to set it up are included, you'll just need a phillips screwdriver handy. I got the white cabinet. Very happy with the purchase!

The cabinet is in pieces. This is not a bad thing. When you are working by yourself, having it 3/4 of the way assembled is much easier to maneuver with one hand and trying to sink concrete screws with the other hand standing on a ladder. Good quality and great price.

For $90 I am quite impressed. It was packaged VERY well. Not a single scuff, scratch, mark or blemish. Sturdy metal, real glass in door, and all the parts fit together well. Instructions are useless, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out what goes where. A bunch of left over screws, but I guess that's better than not having enough. My biggest gripe, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it's not white. It says white on the box and it's white in the picture, but it's unabashedly beige. It can't be more beige. 1990's Honda Civic interiors are jealous of how being this cabinet is. But again, for $90, it's a really nice cabinet.

Largely a great rack, but.... It looked like the instructions that came with my rack were a copy of a copy, of a copy, of a copy; they were barely legible. The only significance of the barely legible one page set of instructions are that you cannot easily determine which screws go where. There are multiple screw sizes that are very close in size to one another. It was a bit of trial and error getting it assembled. Clear and easy to read instructions, would have saved me thirty minutes. Also the rack is described as white, it's really more of an almond or off-white. See the image. The walls are white and the rack is more almond or off-white than white.

This review is for the WHITE 09U rack.

The rack was installed in our master bedroom walk-in closet. I selected this particular 9U model because its white color makes the wife happy and it holds all our whole-house music system equipment with room to spare.

The rack houses a heavy 16 channel power amp, networked audio zone controller, Volumio music player and other bits. The amp was a very tight fit; Because of depth interference issues I had to ignore its rack ear mounts and instead rest it on a rack mounted shelf. Fortunately the front door closes with about an inch of clearance.

Assembly was straight forward. A painted 3/4" plywood backboard was installed on the wall (screwed into studs). Four 1/4"-20 T-Nuts and bolts were used to mount the rack to the backboard. This provided a very secure wall mounted installation. I was able to hang it on the wall by myself, but I suggest using two people.

Other reviewers mentioned the "white" color is not pure white. Mine has a beige tint to it. Not an issue for me since it looks fine with our closet's grayish-white colored walls. Also mentioned was that when the door is reversed (hinged on left side) the front label is upside down. I can confirm that, but it's not a big deal.

My only complaint is that the provided AC (mains) powered cooling fan is very noisy. I swapped it out with a 12V temperature controlled PC fan and now it is silent.

PROS: Affordable, easy assembly, sturdy construction.
CONS: Noisy fan.
