I used this as a curtain Rod in my living room, as all my rods would pull out and the whole dang thing would fall. This is secured once you get it to the length that works for you.
I nailed 2 small square pieces of wood on each side and used the glued the Rod holders on that and secured rod into that. It worked great and I am so please. Do not have to worry about it all coming apart!!

Well packaged & more parts than expected! They really wanted to be sure I could hang this up! I didn't expect the wall brackets included "just in case it slides", or the center bracket to prevent bowing. I really expected to need to buy something to make it work as my walls are odd. But I won't need to make it work! 🤩 I actually had to remove one section to make it work. I simply removed the end (short) section and now it fits perfectly!

I purchased this tension rod to hold up, backdrops for virtual meetings. I use a standing desk, so normal tripods and backgrounds don't cut it. This essentially functions as a super long curtain rod like you'd see for a shower, but can go the whole length of a room and is much sturdier. I don't go out of my way to yank on it, but it's definitely up there and not budging. I had a hard time getting it on the wall where I wanted because it is so tight, but since the point is for it to hold up heavy stuff without moving, it's to be expected. I'm pleased with it.
