The media could not be loaded. These blocks are lots of fun! The set has a lot of blocks and two good size base platforms. The blocks work great with Duplos, and add a whole extra dimension of possibilities for creativity. We mixed them right to our Duplo bin, and other than having new, unique sizes, you really can't tell the difference. (In the video posted, the set is mixed in with all of our Duplos, so there are many more blocks being used.) This set has 2x1 and 2x.5 blocks, which are cool since our blocks didn't have those sizes. I thought they were great for my 3YO and 7YO (but those blocks are probably too small for younger kids who might put them in their mouths). The giraffe is adorable, too. The only thing I didn't love was that the balls are very small and require assembly, which was strange to me. Once assembled, they are fine, but tend to get lost. They are lightweight to control the speed and slightly larger than a typical marble (watch for choking hazard for younger children). Other than that, though, A+!

My grandkids sit for hours playing with this. Better than video games.

I purchased this set as a gift for my three year old grandson who adores marble runs. We decided to put the run together prior to wrapping the gift so that he could play with it right away. The blocks and base pieces are well constructed and easy for little hands to hold on to. The colors are great and very appealing for kids. Now, I am very good at spacial concepts so assembly should have been easy, however the suggested construction layout phicturs were small and difficult to decipher. This resulted in trial and error in some areas but I managed to work my way through it. The "marbles" are a nice size plastic ball that comes in two pieces - not real easy to put together. Would be nice if they came in one piece. The base comes in two equal size pieces that only connect together when you span blocks over them This made picking the piece up to move it a bit precarious. I ended up attaching the base plates to a piece of foam core board with double sided tape so that we could move the assembled toy into a sizable box for careful wrapping. Over all, this is a fun and educational toy for kids. I think that kids under six years old will need adult help to build a run of any size, but they are able to make small hand held versions. My only reason for not giving this toy five stars in that the base plates do not connect solidly enough to pick the large run up without danger of it coming apart and that the plastic balls come in two pieces. I would buy this again.

Can't complain, the people were a little cheap feeling but the dinosaurs were nice. The bricks are high quality, the marbles are junk but we have our own marbles. The stickers didn't last long, all they were were eyes and we have lots of real bricks that have that silkscreened on. One thing I wish they had were more marble slope parts, most of them are flat and the ones that are sloped are a sharp drop of one brick over just a 4 stud distance if that makes sense. It took a while for my 4 year old to get to where she was building a track. My friends kids have the same problem so I think it might be an age thing. I had to play with her until she got it and now she can build some impressive tracks. At first you might think it was a waste of money but just play with them for a while to show them how it is done and then they take off.

These blocks work with Duplo blocks the same size. My 8 year old grandson builds his own ideas and loves playing with them. Unfortunately the 2 flat pieces that are used as a base were cracked. Too thin! I would have returned it for new one but my grandson didn't care, he wanted to build something as soon as he got it!
