We've been using this brand solely since January of 2018. Love it! Ample protection with minimal bulk and breathable material. We machine wash in cold water without fabric softener and hang to dry. I know the pads take a beating in the washer and would stay together longer if I hand washed as recommended, but I choose the washing machine. We get a good 6 months at about 3 washings per week out of them before they need replaced.
Fits better in skinny boys. My son 9.5yo He is 4’9†and 115lbs. He loves it but very tight.
