We bought the original cuisenart pressure cooker but hated the fact that the bowl had to be used with a plastic spoon because it chips easily if using too much stirring. It lasted us about a year and a half and then we had to much specs showing where we knew it was bad for our health eating possible particles. This is a perfect fit! At first it may not look like it does but just use as normal and when you lock the lid it will pressurize. It's a nice looking clean silvery bowl! Hopefully will last year's like all stainless steel!

The original insert has a coated material which got scratched on the bottom. So glad to find this stainless insert. Thank you for designing and manufacturing it. Problem solved. I really like this Cuisinart pressure cooker and now it is back in working order with this insert.
