We uses it for a counter top plug. Wasn't hard to install. It does stick when opening, so you have to lift it up but otherwise happy with it. Like the usb part also.

Works great and looks nice set into my counters. The one objection is you need to hold the release button while it pops up and when you put it down because the tab that holds it shut catches on the usb ports. Not sure if this is an issue with all brands (it might be) and is hardly a big deal...but it is mildly annoying
