I installed this on my 08 Silverado and it fit right in. The installation on the tailgate was simple(fishing the wires thru the tailgate is easier with two people, but one person can do it). The wires and connectors make for a simple installation. It looks like a factory back up camera. The image quality is nice and I have had zero issues. All in all, nice product at a good price.

Bought one of these and installed it on my 2009 GMC Sierra. It worked well for a couple months. During the winter months it started cutting out randomly. Eventually it stopped working all together. I checked the wiring with a multimeter. The camera is dead :(
Update:
I contacted the seller and explained the situation. They sent me a replacement at no cost. Although it was a pain to swap them out, I am impressed by their customer service.

Time will tell as to how long this will last in the weather. But, so far, I am happy with the upgrade. The picture certainly isn't 1080 or anything like that, but it is at a higher resolution than a lot of the OEM factory stuff that I see. Do keep in mind that the camera is offset (not centered on the vehicle), but it hasn't really bothered me one bit.

This camera fit perfectly on my 2011 GMC 2500HD Sierra, and replaced the stock backup camera that came on the truck. I replaced the stock camera due to installing a touchscreen head unit and wanting better picture quality than the stock setup could give. Running the cable to the front of the truck was fairly easy too, and there was plenty of cable to get from the rear of the truck to the engine, through the firewall, and up to the stereo (truck is a crew-cab with short bed). Lastly, I loved that there are power connections at both ends of the cable allowing me to connect near the front of the truck or rear of the truck!
I had a couple minor issues with this camera:
(1) the resolution of this camera wasn't as great as I hoped it might be, either that or the stereo I installed can't display a very high resolution (though I don't notice it anywhere else).
(2) I wished that the camera did point down a little bit more so I could see the edge of the truck's bumper.
Even with those to minor issues, it's still a great camera for the price.
