Detailed Review after using for almost 1.6 years.

Let's get to the point most people are looking for when looking for a Pressure Washer. This pressure washer has thrown me through many loops after a year. I had to replace the pull cord and handle after two weeks of use, casual use not commercial use. I would not trust this thing for that. Now for casual use, this means car wash, house washing, and cement washing. It will always be a love-hate relationship with this pressure washer. It will leak from the carburetor if you do not crank it within a few seconds to minutes. This pressure washer will also cut your finger from the choke and fuel increase levers. The wheels are cheap also, you will probably have to replace them eventually since the plastic is cheaper than a handful of those square gums you buy from a candy dispenser. You will spend 3/4 of your time trying to crank it if you have let it sit for approximately 2 days and 2 hours. (hypothetically). Okay now that I have outlined my problems, let us go into detail with these and I will also outline my use to the present time.

This particular pressure washer has, without a doubt, taken me on a tumultuous journey during my year of ownership. What initially seemed like a promising addition to my household for tasks as lovely as car washing, house cleaning, and cement surface maintenance quickly turned into an unexpected series of trials and tribulations. To begin with, the machine's reliability left much to be desired. Within an astonishingly short two-week timeframe, I found myself having to undertake the somewhat exasperating task of replacing the pull cord and handle, an issue that should never plague a tool designed for its task, but it happens. Now, while it might be forgivable for a machine to exhibit such frailty if subjected to heavy-duty commercial work, it's perplexing and disheartening to encounter these issues in the context of casual, non-commercial usage. But the woes don't end there. The most exasperating of its quirks is its curious tendency to leak fuel from the carburetor if one fails to start it within a narrow window of mere seconds to a handful of minutes, a situation that often results in beautiful pearly droplets of gas that eventually turns into a puddle! Now, I also understand such things could have been avoided by turning the gas off, but at the cost of my ignorance, I did not know that until after it happened. Furthermore, the design of this machine leaves much to be desired. Its structure, in a strange twist of irony, incorporates sharp edges that can inflict cuts and discomfort upon unsuspecting fingers when attempting to use the choke and fuel increase levers. Even the seemingly humble wheels of this contraption are constructed from materials that can only be described as cheap, akin to the square gums dispensed by old-fashioned candy machines that are probably as old as the candy machine itself. (no shade thrown vending and candy machine side hustlers!) It overshadows any potential advantages it may offer for routine household cleaning endeavors. It morphs into a consistent source of frustration and disillusionment, leaving one to ponder whether it's worth the trouble or if other, more reliable alternatives should be sought out, but there's more!! I for some reason still use this! Now, even after all of this frustration and love/hate relationship between me and Ole' Faithful, I have not had any problems other than these. After a year of use, I have learned how to handle, treat, and care for this ungodly strong pressure washer. I have dedicated more time to this pressure washer and it has yielded its use at the expense of my time.
Good machine with some design oversights

TL;DR: This is a great, effective, easy-to-use machine so far, but there are some design shortfalls that you will want to equip yourself to deal with and some accessories you'll probably want. Don't shy away from reading the manual. The quick start guide in particular is excellent and should act as a reference for ongoing work. Overall, I think it's good and recommend it.

This machine works very well and gets the job done splendidly. It's easy to use and has no surprises during normal operation. It's heavy but not absurdly so. It's stable and doesn't want to tip over. The hose connectors on the machine are in the wrong place and need some help to let the machine work at its best. Follow the startup/shutdown procedures every time, and follow the recommended maintenance schedule.

Pros:
- Seems to be built well
- High, consistent pressure
- Very stable during operation - no tipping, no wandering off due to vibration, etc.
- Assembly was simple and assembly instructions were good
- Engine starts easily
- Overall easy to use
- Everything is standard and there will be no surprises with accessories
- The quick-connect collars are smooth and work well (at least, so far)
- The soap/detergent injector works really well

Cons:
- The included 25' hose is both too short and too stiff
- The high-pressure outlet is in the wrong place, and the hose is very likely to land in front of the hot exhaust port and so the risk of melting is high
- The low-pressure inlet is pointing toward the side, not the rear
- The oil fill is hard to get to and very narrow
- The oil drain plug is in a terrible location and getting the oil drained without causing a big mess is extremely difficult

Improvements:
You can overcome most of the cons yourself pretty cheaply and easily, and I strongly recommend all of the following:
- Get a 90 degree fitting for the low-pressure inlet (garden host fitting). This takes it from side-facing to rear-facing and will make your life better for a couple of bucks
- Tie down the high-pressure hose to the upright handle with a zip tie to keep it away from the hot exhaust
- Get a piece of angle iron or similar to act as a channel for the oil to flow down when draining it
- Get a flexible funnel with a narrow tip to make adding oil easier

There are a number of accessories that I strongly recommend. This is not unique to this pressure washer, as most do not come with these accessories:
- Get a turbo nozzle if you're working on concrete. They're worth the money. I got the one from this same listing and it works well.
- Get an adjustable/selectable nozzle to avoid frequent tool changes to switch between nozzle angle, soap dispensing, etc. I got the one from this same listing and it works well.
- If you're doing large flat surfaces (patio, driveway, walkway, etc.), a flat surface cleaner will save your back a lot of torment.
Solid Pressure Washer

Really happy with the purchase. Doesn't take mush assembly and what little assembly there was was easy. Comes with one container of oil which was really nice. Easy to start and use. Just make sure you look through the guide for the different steps to take starting it. If it doesn't consistently spray right away you probably have some air in the line that needs to get pushed out. I like having all the different nozzles and used a couple of them. I have not tried it with soap yet so I cannot speak to anything with soap. I cleaned my driveway, sidewalk, a back patio, and the stones around my firepit. Washer was easy to move around on the wheels. Only slight complaint is when running it vibrates and moves around a bit. I noticed this the most on my driveway. You will need to watch the garden hose you have connected to it and the hose connected to the sprayer. If you aren't carful they will rub against other parts of the washer and get a hole in them while the washer is vibrating. My garden hose has a little spot on it that got rubbed down but that was about after two hours of use. I took and wrapped both hoses in a towel and that protected them fine. If you are paying attention to it and are carful it won't be an issue.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing cleaning like never before with the Westinghouse Pressure Washer, and I must say, it's an absolute game-changer! If you're tired of spending hours scrubbing away grime and dirt, this pressure washer is your ultimate solution.

From the moment I unpacked the Westinghouse Pressure Washer, I was impressed by its sturdy build and sleek design. It exudes a sense of reliability and modernity that's indicative of the quality it promises to deliver. The assembly process was a breeze, with clear instructions that even a beginner could follow without a hitch.

What truly sets the Westinghouse Pressure Washer apart is its exceptional power and performance. With its high-pressure output, tackling tough tasks like cleaning driveways, decks, and even grimy vehicles becomes a satisfying and efficient endeavor. The variety of nozzles allowed me to tailor the force to different surfaces, ensuring that no damage occurred while still achieving spotless results.

One of the standout features is the variety of included nozzles. Whether I needed a wide spray for broad surfaces or a concentrated jet for stubborn stains, the Westinghouse Pressure Washer had a nozzle for every scenario. The quick-connect system made switching between nozzles a breeze, saving me time and effort during my cleaning sessions.

Noise levels can be a concern with pressure washers, but the Westinghouse model pleasantly surprised me with its relatively quiet operation. I could clean without feeling like I was launching a jet engine in my backyard, which is a huge plus for both myself and my neighbors.

Durability is a key factor in any cleaning tool, and the Westinghouse Pressure Washer doesn't disappoint. It's evident that this machine is built to last, with high-quality materials that can withstand the rigors of regular use. The onboard detergent tank was a convenient addition, making soap application seamless and efficient.

Maintenance and storage were also thoughtfully considered. The compact design and easily detachable handle allowed me to stow away the pressure washer in my garage without taking up excessive space. The detachable hose storage ensured that everything stayed organized and ready for the next cleaning task.

In conclusion, the Westinghouse Pressure Washer has truly redefined my cleaning routine. Its power, versatility, and thoughtful design make it a must-have for homeowners who value both efficiency and quality. Say goodbye to hours of tedious scrubbing and say hello to a sparkling-clean world with the Westinghouse Pressure Washer by your side. Highly recommended!
Fantastic Pressure Washer

At the beginning of 2023 I decided I wanted to buy a pressure washer. I have never owned one or been in possession of one, so I was completely new to this.

I bought the WPX3400. The engine is pretty straightforward. There's a dedicated off switch, a choke/run toggle, and fuel off/on switch. On either side of the base of the engine where the block meets the wheel axle/frame are oil intakes. One is a bit more accessible than the other.

The engine itself runs well. The pull start is smooth: if you haven't run it in a bit, it'll usually start within 4 pulls assuming everything is set correctly. If you have to shut it off midway and restart, it almost always starts on the first pull. I make an effort to keep it as clean as I can, and always out of the way of the sprayer. A full tank will take you pretty far in this as well. Just regular 87 gas.

I did my whole concrete driveway and patio which hadn't been cleaned since it was poured. The difference is significant. I also did the concrete patio and some stone blocks at my other house, and also used it to quickly and effectively jet out the septic system of this houze with an aftermarket set of nozzles and hose. Again, worked wonders.

The provided nozzles cover a good range of uses, from car cleaning to wood, vinyl siding, all the way up to very strong and narrow beams, which I don't really know what you would be spraying with that wouldn't be destroyed or seriously damaged. The broader nozzles do great for concrete and vinyl and softer targets.

I have noticed that my hand will cramp after prolonged use of the sprayer gun. I always wear gloves but sometimes it can be taxing on the hand since it does shake and recoil a bit.

I've had two instances where I've had to troubleshoot the machine. First, I suspect it may have run out of oil. It was running normally then just kinda sputtered out. I checked the oil, but I thought it was fine based on the indicator stick. Still, I topped it off, and it came back on with no issues. I'm not sure if the oil was the solution there.

Another time, I noticed that the washer wasn't getting a consistent output flow of water. I had two garden hoses daisy chained together with an adapter between the two. One hose had a rigid body, and the other hose was one of the expanding/contracting hoses. After troubleshooting for a bit, I found that the fact that these hoses were connected and leading into the washer caused some sort of problem with the water flow. After setting it up so that there was only one hose leading into the machine, the problem seemed to have resolved itself. I found it odd that for all of the times I used this washer before in tandem with the shrinking/expanding hose, I never had any issues. I am still scratching my head over that.

I also bought a set of extending poles for the washer, however I was not able to use them to their full potential because I could not connect them to the gun. The gun has an M22-14mm swivel port where the wand attaches. Keep this in mind if you have any accessories you plan on using with this, or consider an aftermarket sprayer gun, which might offer a more ergonomic handhold.

To summarize, this thing is a champ. It's run reliably since I started using it in February when I first got it. I was jumping out and doing some practice runs in between bouts of non-freezing weather to dial it in. I used it last week to un-cake the pollen and sap on my car, which also did an excellent job. If the idea of buying one has been on your mind, this is a fantastic and well rounded option. It's decently powerful in terms of the PSI/GPM ratio, which I considered one of the more important traits of a pressure washer. Gas engines just run better compared to the inconsistency from electrical/battery variants. You're going to find yourself wanting to use this very frequently.
