The swing is exactly as described! Our 4 boys all enjoy playing on it. It's really closer to 5 stars for assembly - 4 stars because you need to have some muscles to push the metal Pieces together. Honestly, that's a win being a swing that you don't want to fall apart! You do need to purchase attachment pieces (not expensive) but that was clearly explained beforehand. My husband and I have both sat on it with our children so the sturdiness is unquestionable.

I went looking for a swing since my kids have their friends over alot, a total of 4, and I know from experience they have issues with waiting for a turn...I needed a solution for a few kids to swing at the same time. This was perfect!! All four kids get on at the same time, one on each for corner side each hold on to two ropes and they have a BALL swinging! NOTE---MUCH LESS WORK ON PARENTS OF MULTIPLES HAVING MORE THAN ONE KID ASKING YOU TO PUSH...YOU CAN PUSH THEM ALL AT ONCE!! Also, My kids love the "twist" version so we just keep it like that. I am a woman, and I installed it all by myself, very easily!! Hardly no time, this was a very good investment for our family. I forgot to post a picture, will try to do it later.

This swing was a Christmas gift for our girls. We were looking for something to breathe new life into our swing-set that gets a lot of use but the kids have gotten a little bored of after a while. So far the platform swing has been awesome. The kids use it all together or separately. Sometimes my middle-schooler just lays on it reading a book as she gently swings. The 1st grader stands on it and gets it going really high! It has definitely been a hit. I am happy also that it came with a cover that snaps on, because we have a nearby tree that drops berries that stain everything. My only issue is that the platform part hangs down much more than shown in the picture. It isn't flat and taut like I expected. The kids haven't seemed to mind though, so I'll say that it doesn't really matter, I just hope it doesn't get more loose over time. We'll see.
