I enjoyed building this model which went together easily. The Color Assembly Manual included in the kit has a wonderful explanation of how the Mustang was developed and how it changed through the years. This kit is a good model for younger Auto enthusiasts' to build interest in America's Iconic Pony Car as well as learn the basics of how an engine works. about the only disappointment I had is the Oil Pan for this model is not clear and therefore, you can't see the crankshatf rotate. It is an expensive kit, but, as a '65 Mustang owner, It has a permanent place in my home office.
Fun build but could use some improvement

I enjoyed building it a lot, but there are a few things that could be better.
1)accuracy. I know its just a plastic model, but I would have like to have seen the air and exhaust paths inside the head, instead its just hollow.
2)valve springs are way too week. over half of them aren't even strong enough to return the valve and rocker arm to the normal position. probably an easy fix if i can find the right size spring.
3)fitment/tolerances. again, i know its a plastic model, but there is way too much play in the crankshaft and connecting rods in my opinion. given the fact that it spins so slowly, theres really no concern about friction from tighter tolerances. also the rocker arm are connected on a kind of ball joint to the head so they can pivot side to side a bit. it still functions, but it looks silly to hang off the side when not under tension.
4)speaking of speed, the motor attached to this spins it PAINFULLY slowly. I understand not wanting to generate friction and damage it, but you could do a bit faster than this. i'll probably try to find a way to modify it lol.
all in all its a fun build for a kid or something, but as an adult i wanted a bit more for the price.

Love the model but came with one broken part. I contacted the company to replace, but they never responded.
Overall pleased

Other than wire not being properly soldered, my BF said it was fun to build. Luckily my BF is a complete nerd and has a soldering iron and was able to fix the issue without having to return it, as it was already built.
