because the sections of colored material are not the same length on both halves. If you try to put them on top and bottom you'll have threads, like tread directions on your tires, or arrow tips, pointed out one window. It also cut one of my fingers somehow. It stung like a paper cut and bled more than you'd expect because you're using your inner superman to force it on the steering wheel. Which made a bit of a mess actually. I'm old so I just got a paper towel and let it go.
But.
If you're ok with one side of the colored section being different than the other... it's reasonably priced. Nobody will ever notice it anyway, but you or maybe someone driving. It's probably only 5/8 of an inch difference which isn't much.

Works great. It's a bit tough to get on but that's expected. It's smooth and soft on the hands. Gets slightly warmer in the sun than the original wheel but not so much that you can't touch it. Looks great in the truck.

It was really hot, so maybe warm it up with a hair dryer instead (or dont let it sit in the sun more than and hour). Point is - warm it up so its more pliable.
