The media could not be loaded. I love everything about this set . I'm glad I read reviews and talked to people this set lights up from the back of the hood that's how I like it. Some sets the hook lights up. This one is aluminum or something the other one is plastic and bends. I can crochet hours and hours because it's comfortable. Let me say I am a little person with little hands so this is a big hook for me. Probably regular size for regular size humans 😆 idk 🤷"â'€ï¸ I just know it's comfortable to crochet with longer hook than clover brand , I do like my clovers but even with my little hands they are small so there's that this had 3 different color sleeves to change color hook. I liked the pink there yellow and red and blue I think 🤔 idk they were ugly I threw them out sorry they just took up space. It comes with lots of accessories you will need. I made a video. I wouldn't sleep on this hook set. I have probably over 70 hooks around my house and this is the only set I use

Exactly the title. I wanted a hook that was lit but still metal, and I'm thrilled with the hook more than the light! Super smooth, comfortable grip. I can't go back to a straight hook now. The light helps when I only have a desk light on, and it's not a lightsaber like the light up acrylic hooks I have.

The hook is light and easy to change. Eventually will want to get a second handle so I don't have to switch sizes between certain stitches.

The handle is super comfortable to hold and it's not hard to swap out the hooks at all. The set comes with a great range of sizes and had enough room in the case to store everything you need. Plus the fact that it has metal hooks means that the yarn still slips over the hooks very smoothly. The only thing with this set is that there seemed to be a bit of a film on the hooks when I first got them. But they cleaned super easy and have been a dream ever since! Plus the light is not over the top since it's also not lighting up the hooks. I use the low light when I crochet at night and it helps add just an extra touch of visibility.

Edited to reflect my experience with the company representatives, after being contacted. If you have any issues make sure to check Facebook, I had put in the right name Yarn Mania, in the search bar, but the one I clicked on had a picture of the round case with the Christmas graphic. That is not the correct one. The moment I sent a message to the legitimate site, I had a response. While they were looking my issue over, I just happened to pick up the hook, one more time and instead of holding the wrench at the handle, I choked up on it at the top of the wrench and the hook head came right off! So the only thing I would say, is the wrench is not the best, but the overall product and customer service got the review it deserved.

I have never given a bad review, of what potentially seems like a really nice product. I received my set, on Saturday, it arrived in a timely fashion and I love the case and the organization of the accessories is all really nice. However, I had never used the "swing" style handle before and when I went to place on the 5.5 mm hook, I could find the exact position, of the hook, that I am used to crocheting--with finger tightening, so I then proceeded to use the little plastic wrench to shift it a tad more. When I realized how the angle of the swing style handle was going to effect the hook placement, I tried to loosen the head with my fingers, no luck. I then got out the wrench and carefully tried to loosen, again, no luck! I tried both directions, thinking maybe it is the opposite torque, no luck.
I am not Hercules, I have arthritis, so for me to get something stuck where I cannot budge it is an amazing feat! I am also sorely frustrated! I noticed that a Facebook website was listed, so I immediately left a message asking for help (one of the categories for messaging). I realize that I left the message on Saturday evening, I was hoping for a weekend response, but was accepting of the fact there might not be one. But, when Monday rolled around and no response and now it being Tuesday morning, and there is an email from Amazon, wanting me to rate the seller/transaction, I decided to bring my review here. Either, I need to know what the heck I can do to remove the hook (an alternate to the plastic wrench that I am afraid will break) or something! I was really looking forward to being able to use these in a lower light situation. I surely would like to be able to change my rating, I don't like leaving negative feedback.

I've been using these hooks for about 4 years now and absolutely love them. Switching out the different size hooks is super easy. The light is really great for using in low light settings and has been very useful for travel or watching shows with the hubby in evenings when he prefers less light in the room.
After over a year of frequent use, the handle started cracking a bit making the hook loose. I decided to contact Yarn Mania via Facebook to see if I could just replace the handle rather than ordering an entire new kit. They got back to me quickly and are sending a new handle for significantly less than purchasing a new one even though the cracking seems like reasonable wear and tear from usage and not from any defect. I'm super happy with the product and impressed by their care for their customers. I would highly recommend this product for anyone. It's the only hook I use even when not using it for the light.
