The media could not be loaded. I got this mostly for my son to use as a desktop microphone when he is playing games with his friends.

I think for that use case it will work pretty well. It's definitely adequate for chatting and using the PC / Mac or that sort of thing when you need inexpensive and a device that doesn't take up a lot of space.

The sound quality was just middle of the road, you can listen in the video. I'll have to play around with the equalization of the audio coming out of it if I ever want to use it in voice overs or other recording tasks. For Skype/Discord or other chatting type scenarios it's probably fine. However I don't want to tell you that it is a "rich" and high dynamic range microphone - because in my testing it comes through as "ok" sound quality.

I've uploaded a few pics and a video recording that has a sound test at the end of the video - so that you can hear what the output of this microphone sounds like.

Like the gooseneck to flex mic to position on top of my PC monitor shelf. Liked the push button mute with light (and yes, I did test as other reviews say the mute did not mute). Works well for my need for hands free speaker talking (as a mic should). Had this for 1.5 months and still works fine.
One star down for low volume. The volume control doesn't really increase volume at all.
I also had to fiddle around as it did not connect consistently when using an external AC powered USB 3.0 hub. It needs to directly connect to PC's USB port or a USB 2.0 hub.
Note: You can detach the mic from the stand holder.

Online meetings using the microphone on the laptop were annoying. Everyone complained they couldn't hear so I'd always be leaning in and talking loud.
Since getting this mic, complaints are gone and I can sit and speak normally :)
And the mute button is handy compared to the icon in the meeting window. Bright red light lets you know you're muted.

Nerve damage which means that one of my hands doesn't work as well as it used to. I write a lot and typing is much slower than I like. I have come to depend on voice dictation and this microphone, particularly for the price, has the least errors of any microphone I have ever used. I particularly like the desk microphone, because I don't have to put on a headset when I almost never use playback. I can put the microphone behind my keyboard, a foot away from my mouth, and speak normally, and the words are picked up clearly.
