I research EVERYTHING that I buy -- even smaller purchases. I tried a couple of different brands on here and they just did not cut it. This is the one that you want! It fits (and protects) my Littmann Cardiology IV with ease, and I can also fit many other medical necessities in here as well. It does not feel cheap like the other brands around this price range. Softer cases are definitely more portable, but ultimately I didn't want to risk damage and went with this hard case. The zipper works well, it's soft on the inside, and the inner flap separates the stethoscope from everything else. I bought the grey color and it's really professional looking.

This case is perfect for all nursing and nursing students. It's lightweight and compact, yet very durable and easily fits my stethoscope, bandage scissors, bandages, penlight, pens, reflex hammer, ID and little notebook. It can also fit a sphygmomanometer if there's not too many other items inside already. The case can handle minor falls and keep everything inside protected. It's also waterproof which is fantastic. I can easily slip it into my larger nursing tote bag, and the beautiful purple color easily stands out when I need to quickly locate it. All around it's a great case for medical supplies!

Chunky, sturdy case

I've found use with carrying bicycle accessories. Its sturdy enough to hold up to having tools in it over bumpy terrain. The stitching on this thing is STRONG. I had to get some tools in there that didn't quite fit, but so far, it's tolerated my prying and poking. Was a pleasant surprise.
Material wise, it's soft enough not to damage anything in it. But not so 'plush' that I worry it would attract dirt or grease. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it has as weird plasticizer smell, but that fades away after a couple weeks. Could leave it out in the sun first.
In addition to the smell, I worry how long the zipper will hold up. It's not bad, to be clear, but it feels less-sturdy than the rest of the case does and I wonder if it will be a weak point. Will update as time goes on.
