She got her Jiggle Back!

I am going to approach this review from a guys perspective. I am actually the one that did the research and was able to find this product.

What prompted me to begin my research:

My girlfriend and I have been together for almost two years. She informed me of her surgery from the very beginning and I told her that to me it did not matter.

As time passed I noticed that she was always tugging at her bra. I soon learned that she was padding them with different materials. In fact, I gave her some of the filling that I was using to fill in-ceiling subwoofer enclosures that I was building for my whole house audio system. The problem with everything that she was using was that it would not remain in place. It was constantly shifting.

Also, I noticed that her look with the padded bras was not natural and the appearance of the breast size kept changing. I guess that when you are stuffing any type of loose material into a bra you can never make it the same size and consistency each time. It just did not look natural.

Besides appearance, what other issues where the result of padding her bras:

In her attempts at keeping the pads in place she tried different things. One was to wear the bras as tight as possible. Not being a woman I cannot attest to how uncomfortable she had to be, but I could see how the bras were digging into her shoulder and back areas.

Another issue that she had was that the safety pins that she was using to keep the pads in place would sometimes come undone. In fact, one day while working one of the safety pins came undone and was poking her in one of her scars. Ouch! She had to run to the restroom to fix it.

While reading the reviews for this product a couple of women mentioned not feeling comfortable when hugging someone else. My girlfriend had the same concern but now she feels confident with hugging.

What did we learn during this process:

As the person that actually purchased these Prosthetics and Mastectomy Bras for my girlfriend for Christmas I learned that without the proper Bra you probably will not be happy.

I am not trying to knock any other company here, but I initially purchased two Bali Mastectomy Bras and two Playtex Mastectomy Bras for her from Kohls. I ended up returning the Playtex Bras and replacing them with two more Bali Bras because the Playtex Bras only had a pocket that you slip the Prosthetic into from the top. This did not properly secure the Prosthetic. In fact, unless the Bra is really tight she felt that the Prosthetic could slip out when bending over.

The Bali Bra has a side opening near the arm pit that you kind of have to force the prosthetic through into the pocket thereby securing it without the possibility of it moving around or falling out. Now she is able to run jump and move around without fear of the Prosthetic moving around.

How has this product changed her life:

Not only have the combination of this Prosthetic and the proper Bra given her her confidence back, but she also says that "she got her Jiggle back".

We have provided links to this page along with the link to Kohls to several of her girlfriends that have had the same surgery. After seeing and feeling these Prosthetics they also want to order them. I initially bought her a pair and a spare, but she wants to purchase more of them over time just in case this particular Prosthetic is no longer available. She loves then that much.

I can personally attest to the fact that if you did not know that she was wearing a Prosthetic you cannot tell simply by looking at her figure. They look 100% natural from any angle. Even when you hug her you cannot tell the difference. This combination of Prosthetic and Bra have been life changing for her.

She tells me all of the time that "She has her Girls Back".

This works great in my bras. I had a mastectomy of my right breast. Feels & moves like the real thing,

I am a breast cancer survivor and underwent a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. It's been seven years and I've never been truly happy with my reconstruction. Like others, my biggest fear is the unexpected and dreaded hug from someone unaware of my medical past. So thanks especially to the gentlemen who wrote about his girl getting her "giggle" back, which inspired me to make the purchase. Especially for the price. I've visited specialty stores and even with insurance could never afford breast forms.

These MOOVANT forms are heavy, which I like because it makes them feel real. Since the backside is not concave they do move around on my existing "reconstructed" chest. So I'll need to get a pocket-style bra. They truly are life-changing!

Note: when the MOOVANT forms arrived each came with a nice pouch to keep them safe when I'm not wearing them which is a nice touch. However, I also received an offer for a free fabric pocket. You put the form(s) inside the pocket before you place them in your bra. But to take advantage of the offer I was redirected to Facebook Messenger which made me uncomfortable. I wish the offer was available on MOOVANT website.

I used to purchase a similar product from Fredricks of Hollywood for $250. They lasted approximately a year until the surface next to my skin would get weak and crack exposing the sticky silicone. When they were no longer available at Fredricks I tried several brands that didn't work well for me Then I found these at a fraction of the price, and I've had my first and only set purchased for over two years now!
