the coating is like some kind of sprayed material that is peeling in locations to the point that i had to carefully remove it with solvent because it looked terrible. it is, however, comfortable and looks good now that it is cleaned up.

I bought the one with the red integrated light built-in. Conveniently, the light automatically activates when you sit. I didn't realize that at first, and only noticed when I parked the bike and walked away for a couple of hours, only to find it obediently flashing on my return.
Still, the seat is nice and wide, and easier on my backside than the seat that came with my bike, though I do get a few dour glances from the spandex crowd.

This seems to be the perfect bike seat for me. I used to get really sore in my tailbone area after about 2 hours of riding. No longer with this bike seat! It's a little odd at first. It feels like you've forgotten your phone in your back pocket, both back pockets due to the pressure in those areas, but that pressure, that support is what I believe alleviates the other pressure on my tailbone in the center of the seat. It's spreads out the points of contact so it's not all in one spot.
Now, some reviews say that the wings of this seat make the seat feel unstable because it's kind of flappy. That's true, but once you get past that feeling and just ride like you usually do as if it's a narrow seat, you won't slide off the seat.
