My husband takes care of the neighborhood feral cat colony (feeds them, gets them fixed, puts out shelter and a heating pad in the winter) and he is very attached to them. So when a hawk started hanging around our backyard that wouldn't do. We put this out on a stand and we haven't seen the hawk since. It also looks very nice as a lawn ornament.

Used for backyard. Must handle it very carefully as it is fragile. I am shocked it wasn't broken when I opened the box there was no bubble wrap just a little plain plastic around the gazing ball & the box was soft cardboard & looked like it had been thru the mill. Thank goodness the ball was unbroken.
