Keeps connecting to "phantom device"

After pairing a few devices it seems to work just fine
it turns out I had a dud initially.
First review:
It only pair this with one device but it keeps showing both A and B channels connected. This results in the sound being choppy and stuttering every second. I've even tried resetting the device by pressing the button for 10 seconds and have all 3 lights flashing. It keeps connecting to an unknown 2nd device and audio is basically garbage with all the stuttering.

Item works great I've used some adapters that don't fit with a grip on this ones basically unnoticeable. Sound quality is great for the most part hardly any lag. Every once in a while the sound quality drops and I have to disconnect and reconnect the headset I'm using. But it's a quick fix. In the few weeks of using the adapter this has happened about 4 times

Cheap, works great and does exactly what it says it does. Paired it with a Steelseries Arctis 3 just fine, mic and all.
Notes:
- Not hard to pair, instruction book is straightforward.
Pros:
- Cheap vs. similar products
- Powered by Switch so no need to charge
- Doesn't seem to significantly impact Switch battery life
- has a power passthrough and a USB C female to USB A male extension dongle for plugging into a Switch dock
- No audio delay (at least on my headset)
Cons:
- Bulky (can't use kickstand in portable mode)
- range is so-so (around 15 feet for me before I noticed audio issues)
Overall I highly recommend it, especially for handheld mode.

A good, reliable and affordable external BT soundcard

I purchased this external BT sound card for my HP Chromebook x2. For some weird reason my wireless earphones did not work well with the built-in BT module in the chromebook. Sound simply disappeared every now and then, even though the earphones stayed connected to the chromebook BT.
I decided to give this device a try. I simply inserted it into one of the chromebook's USB-C ports. The Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earphones paired with this BT sound card immediately, and the connection is stable at all times. There are no sound interruptions whatsoever with this external BT sound card, and it solved the issue I had.
Two relatively minor issues I noticed:
1. For some reason sound volume is lower when my earphones are paired to this BT soundcard compared to other devices. I often have to set the volume to its maximal level, but at this max. level volume is fine.
2. The Power Delivery (PD) USB-C port on my device doesn't work. The chromebook is not charging, and the USB-C power meter placed between the power adapter and the sound card PD port is continuously turning on and off. This is not a big deal for me, because there are two USB-C ports on the chromebook, and I have a special USB-C multi-port card with HDMI, USB-A and RJ45 outputs. This card is equipped with the USB-C PD port that works fine. But you shouldn't count on the PD capabilities of this card.

I was looking for something that would allow me to use wireless earbuds, particularly my Air Pods with the Switch. Comparing some of the other products out there I was concerned something that costs $20 wouldn't work. The item arrived yesterday and I plugged it in right away to charge.
When I came back to use it I found paring it was pretty easy. There were no instructions included but if you've ever paired any bluetooth devices it's the same process. Hold the button in on both devices and they'll eventually see each other and pair.
It works great, no problems at all. Very happy with this purchase. Now we'll see how long it lasts...
