Best mouse I've owned
Wyatt✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 18, 2023
The Logitech G604 mouse has been a revelation in the world of computer peripherals for me. Its ergonomic design, thoughtfully placed side buttons, seamless performance with no input lag, long-lasting battery life, and sleek black finish make it an absolute winner in my book.

The ergonomic design of the G604 is an instant standout. It fits my hand like a glove, allowing for hours of comfortable use without any discomfort or strain. The contours and textured grip make it a joy to hold, whether I'm working, gaming, or both.

The side buttons on this mouse are an absolute game-changer. Positioned perfectly, they're easily accessible without being in the way. This is especially valuable for gaming, where quick access to additional commands can be a deciding factor in a match.

One of the key features of the G604 is the complete lack of input lag. Whether I'm navigating a document, fine-tuning my aim in a game, or performing intricate design work, the cursor responds instantly to my movements. It's a vital aspect for any mouse, and the G604 excels.

The battery life is impressive. I don't have to worry about constantly recharging or replacing batteries. It just keeps going, ensuring I'm never interrupted in the middle of a task or gaming session.

The sleek black finish is not just for aesthetics; it's also for practicality. It's easy to maintain and doesn't show wear and tear easily, which is perfect for a device that gets a lot of use.

One piece of advice I'd offer for any mouse, including the G604, is to invest in a hard mouse pad. It not only provides a consistent and smooth surface for precise tracking but also prolongs the life of your mouse's feet.

In conclusion, the Logitech G604 mouse is a top-notch choice for those who demand both comfort and precision in their computer peripherals. Its ergonomic design, intuitive side buttons, input lag-free performance, long battery life, and sleek aesthetics are a winning combination. To take your mouse experience to the next level, pair it with a quality hard mouse pad, and you'll have a setup that's hard to beat.
Great gaming mouse from Logitech
Mohamed E.✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 11, 2023
The Logitech G604 looks and functions as described, I like the dpi buttons location and the side buttons are a nice plus, I've already assigned functions to them that streamlined my workflow considerably, I do some gaming, writing, and photo and video editing. The infinite scroll wheel is a feature I didn't know I needed till I used it, saves a lot of frustration from scrolling, the scroll left and right by tilting the scroll wheel is a major plus.

So far I only used it in lightspeed mode over the USB receiver, no interference from wifi as I run my network in 5GHz mode, the response time is indistinguishable from wired mice, I used it in games, mainly Assassin's creed to no impact on performance whatsoever. I didn't use the extender cable to plug in the receiver as I have it plugged directly into my usb hub.

The weight of the mouse is quite acceptable and only took a half hour of use to get used to as my previous one was lighter, but it posed no problem for me and really that weight is nothing to my hands. The mouse is quite ergonomic and cause no pain or soreness in 4+ hours of daily use.

Battery life is good so far, I've used it for 10 days now on lightspeed mode and still going, avg 4-5 hours daily, and the software still shows me a full battery, which brings me to...

Software! G hub is certainly not the most intuitive thing to use, a bit of a learning curve, but I'm taking it easy and exploring it bit by bit, I've already changed my dpi levels, I prefer generally higher dpi as my mouse movements are more twitchy than using full elbow movements, and I've played with assigning functions to the G keys. The software is not intuitive but by no means a reason to discourage buying this product.

No RGB, fine with it, I'd much rather pay more for functionality than festival lights that would stay hidden under my hand anyway during use.

Build quality is great, the mouse looks and feels premium and solid, the buttons are firm with no wiggle, clicking feels soft and produces low soft sounds, which is to my liking. The scroll wheel is metal which makes it a bit louder than average, though not in a bad or distracting way. The battery and receiver cover is solid and holds tightly to the mouse body when in place with no play whatsoever when using the mouse, the rubber textured middle of the mouse, including thumb rest, feels good on the skin. Buttons do not attract fingerprints which is a huge plus, though the part with the scroll wheel has a glossy finish which is a fingerprint magnet.

In conclusion, this is a great quality product with all the functionality one would want from a mouse for gaming and work with a great deal of customisation without unnecessary bling, the mouse looks sleek and professional and elevates the look of your workspace, the software could use some improvement but not a deterrent. All in all I would definitely recommend buying this, not only because it's a quality product, but also for the freedom of wireless! I'll update my review as I use the mouse and discover anything more to outline.

Edit: 1 year 3 months on,

The mouse works as good as ever, still looks new, I've been operating it for the last 6 months with a rechargeable battery. Click sound and feel still the same, no degradation to rubber or plastic, even side button labels are intact. one of the best purchases ever.
One note: use logitech g hub only to dial in your preferred settings, save the profile to the mouse then use it in on-board mode from then, software mode interferes too much in the functionality for my liking and some functions even work better; I had assigned volume up and down to buttons G8 & G9 and it only worked in tiers, as in I had to repeatedly press the button for the volume slider to move, in onboard mode the duration of the press determined the movement of the volume slider, as in it moved as long as I pressed the button, same thing with side scroll.
Great MMO Mouse
Robert✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 10, 2023
Really like this mouse a lot it is my first MMO Mouse I ever owned and I am enjoying using this mouse. I was going to buy a standard 12 side button mouse but I felt like it was to much after borrowing my friend corsair mouse for a week bc I kept losing my positioning and it got confusing after a while using it bc the small buttons and no true center button so I went ahead and got this guy.

Experience:
I usually play FFXIV and ESO and it works great and love this mouse to death as it makes everything whole lot easier for those games and takes load off to be able to move more and have additional buttons to click but if you want this mouse to use for fps I couldn't give a good opinion/review other then you can make it work. I have use only 3 buttons generally for these types of games (melee, lethal and non lethal grenades actions) and had a fine time though but I can see potential of more uses though.

Cons:
If I had to give it a cons it would be its weight it is a heavier mouse so if that's a game changer I wouldn't recommend getting it especially for fps but I can say you will get used to it within a week and get stronger fore arms :p. The second thing would be I wish the software had mouse buttons instead of assigning button macros to the mouse like F1-F12, etc (Keyboard Buttons) I would of liked to be able to see Mouse button 1-10 that were for the mouse only buttons and not the keyboard that i seen in some wired mouses have.

If anything this is a great for first timer looking for a Wireless/Bluetooth MMO Mouse that is simple to use or helpful to be able to work your way up to a 12 button mouse if you want to test the waters. I Honestly like this mouse and I did my research to get this and I don't regret it great product.

Notes/Ideas:
This is just a suggestion but for a future product idea for the company I would go for a 9 sided button version of this with texture (Mabey a slide adjustable like the wired corsair mouse). I think this would be a great idea for new mmo players looking for a mmo mouse that seems easy to use/press, I think 9 would be perfect number as it is less confusing for players to locate the buttons as they only need to know where the middle button is to know/remember where they are on the mouse and also not to miss click. Honestly these mouse buttons feel perfect already as they are size just right to click and know your position but I believe it can fit another row of 3 buttons at the bottom without a problem and help give more options for players to use while not worrying about a miss click or lose position of what button is which.
Decent G602 upgrade, great G700 replacement
Matt H.✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 21, 2023
As a long-time Logitech user, I just recently got a G604 to replace my dying G700 on another computer, and see how much of an upgrade it is to my two G602's that are both still almost brand new.

For the record, my daily driver is a wireless G502 since release, and the wired 502 Spectrum since release before that. But before the 502's, the G700 was my main for several years. When the 502 Spectrum came out, my G700 was already showing its age, and the 502 was the closest thing to the G700 at the time, albeit with a stupid wire. But it was much lighter and easier to play with, so I retired my G700 to another computer and stuck with the G502.

I currently have two 602's besides the 502's. One as an MMO mouse, and another on another computer. I got the G604 because with the addition of the infinite scroll wheel, that finally makes the mouse a G700 replacement or upgrade, because that's one of the main things that split apart the G700 and G602, along with side scrolling on the wheel.

**G700 vs. G604**
-----------------------
The two are very comparable in shape and buttons/button placement. While the G700 only has 4 side buttons, the G604 has 6. It retains the extra left-click buttons (two instead of three on the G700), which I use on every gaming mouse I've owned (G700, G602, G502, Roccat Leadr).

The G604 also has an easily replaceable battery, just like the G700, which I actually prefer. If the mouse runs out of battery, simply swap out one battery for another and keep going *wirelessly*, instead of plugging in to charge and have to be tied to a cable until it's charged again.

And before those of you who say (it costs more to replace batteries), that's your own choice. I have a 4-slot battery charger that takes AA's and AAA's. I always have both charged and ready to go, so if a mouse battery dies, I have a charged one ready to swap out. Charging those batteries and having them ready to go is no different than charging the battery in your other wireless mice. Except this way, you can swap batteries and keep being wireless (which is the whole purpose of a wireless mouse) instead of being tied down to the cord.

In virtually every sense, the G604 can now be a direct G700 replacement due to the added scroll wheel features like infinite scroll and side/tilt scrolling. For those looking for a G700 replacement, this is definitely the mouse to get.

**G602 vs. G604**
-----------------------
So, is the G604 an upgrade to the G602? The answer is yes *and* no. It's an upgrade in the sense that:

* It has a better sensor and battery life.
* You can now use 1000Hz polling rate on the G604 when you're limited to 500Hz on the G602.
* The G604 has Bluetooth where the G602 does not.

Those are where the upgrades end. And yes, the G604 is a decent upgrade to the G602. But it's not perfect.

**CONS**
-----------
What I **don't** like about the G604, which I'm actually kind of disappointed about, is that the side buttons are more "mushier" and less "clicky" than the G602's. And while the G602 doesn't have clicky mechanical switches, I was expecting an upgrade to the switches and buttons to be clicky like on any other current MMO mouse that uses mechanical switches on the side buttons. I'm sure those who like a quieter mouse will definitely love the buttons, though.

My other con is that I was disappointed to see that Logitech chose to use the older, heavy steel scroll wheel on the G604 (like was used on the G700 and older G502's), instead of the newer, more lightweight scroll wheel found on the wireless G502 and G900/G903. This scroll wheel has much more side-to-side play than the other newer scroll wheels also, making it a bit more difficult to hit the tilt buttons.

**Conclusion**
------------------
With the cons above, I personally don't think the G604 is totally worth it's $99.99 price tag. While it does have a better sensor, added Bluetooth and added scroll wheel features compared to the G602, the older, heavy scroll wheel and mushier side buttons kinda make the mouse feel not as new and updated as it could have been.

If you can get it on sale, I'd say definitely go for it if you've been looking at it and want to try it out. It does have more features than the G602, so it's definitely a bit of a G602 updgrade, And it's a great upgrade to the long-gone G700, being comparable in just about every way.
Most practical multi-purpose mouse
Yam Boi✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 9, 2023
I use this mouse for mmos, league of legends, photoshop, and general browser/app use. The software takes a bit to get used to, but allows you make separate profiles for each game/program you use. When using a browser for videos, I have a profile that has the left and right arrow key, spacebar for pause/play, and shift. For gaming I use 1-6 on the side and 7-8 on the top left keys. The top left key is really useful in league of legends because I use it for attack-move-click.

Mechanically the mouse is solid, lasting much longer than a Naga (don't buy those) or other competitors. The only mouse to last me as long was the Red Dragon, but that wasn't wireless. The battery is long lasting and the wireless connection doesn't falter. The button setup is more practical than most mmo-style mice.

I find the top left "fire keys" to be essential to a good gaming mouse. When using any mmo mouse, the first two side keys and the top keys are going to allow you the most precise movement. Whenever you have to lift your thumb to click further back keys on any mmo mouse, you're going to be a little bit less precise with your mouse movement. That's why having two extra keys that use your pointer-finger is very useful. Mice that have extra keys below the scroll wheel function okay, but not as well as mice with top-left keys.
