The first thing that comes to mind, while writing this review, is, I LOVE this pot!
Ixve been making rice for a few years. Suddenly, my rice had pits. The very center of the grains weren't getting cooked. It wasn't that much of a big deal, but it was annoying. Then I made a popular, brand name, boxed Red Beans & Rice. Those pitts were unacceptable! So, what was the problem? Well, I decided to read the directions, again. It said to use a 3 quart saucepan. I didn't have a 3 qt saucepan; I only had a 2 qt saucepan and much larger. I ended up adding another 10 minutes o the cook time and my rice came out fine.
Well, when I bought this pot, I cooked rice and made my Red Beans & Rice dish. I cooked my rice as I always has and I cooked he Red Beans & Rice per the directions. It literally came out, perfectly. Sometimes, my rice had been a little wet on the bottom. Not with this pot! The bottom of the pot is dry and the rice is a little moist, as though it had been steamed! I've cooked other things and the pot just cooks very evenly.
I'm very pleased with this saucepan. It's been a great addition to my kitchen.

This is a good saucepan and we use it nearly every day. I would rate it 5 stars if it had a little grip/handle opposite of the main handle. Makes draining thing a little tricky if you want to grip both sides of the pan/pot.

I bought the larger one awhile back and loved it so I bought the smaller one just for convenience and I reach for both all the time! I use these things all. the. time. and they are easy to wash, sturdy and they don't stain or show signs of wear. The heat distribution on the bottom of the pan is great even when used on smaller eyes that may not cover the whole bottom of the pan. Also, they heat up in the amount of time you'd expect them to. Just a really quality product and very well made.

I bought this for my girlfriend who likes to cook. From what I can see, the product is nicely made. Distributes the heat well. The one thing someone else mentioned that can be improved on is the seal of the lid to the pot. I thought it was a little loose, and heat from cooking would not seal it tight which concerns me when it comes to rice. However, it does the job and my girlfriend likes the side vents to filter the water out when making pasta.

It's fine, and it works. But the bottom started pitting immediately after the first use. It doesn't affect the performance at all, however.
For some people, though, like me, I'd rather not see that. But that's my personal preference. I realize it's great for a budget series, though. But I bought a pan from Deluxe (also a budget line), and that one hasn't pitted yet. So, I dunno, up to you. Like I say, it doesn't affect the usage at all, that I can tell.
