The shorts fit really well and as expected. The quality of the fabric seems tough and should last. The downside is when swimming or in the water, the shorts float/rise up more than expected. I felt like I was wearing a Speedo at times. Overall I like them for home use to help get the tan lines higher up.
For a middle age guy trying to look good in a bathing suite, these are AMAZING!

Only gave 1 star on 'Sheerness' because these trunks are not sheer.
I love these shorts. I'm a 6'1", 220# middle aged guy. A little too thick for my own comfort, but also not grossly overweight. Finding trunks that make me feel somewhat attractive is no easy fit. Most are either too skimpy for my comfort, or I feel like I'm wearing 80's board shorts. These are actually PERFECT for me. I feel like they offer a slimmer profile pushing the risker boundaries, yet look extremely tasteful and fitting for a guy that does not look at all like the models they use in advertisements. And the zipper pockets are function, when zipped keep the pocket area from looking baggy or stretched out, and also add just enough of an accent that I think they break up the 'solid color' look and give it a little character. I ended up buying 3 pair in different colors!
