I purchased this for mom. She has three great danes. These pups signal by scratching the door when needing to go outside. I have ordered this product twice. This is a great barrier between my sliding glass door and my dogs always scratching at it. Just moved in to our new home and immediately the dogs started scratching at the glass door and damaging it. I did lay it out flat for a couple days and blow dried it with my wife's blow drier then proceeded to installing it. Which seemed to help a lot! Make sure you put the adhesive patches to the outer parts then the leftover ones on the inner area. It was even installed in cold weather and still came out working great!!

They work and are easy to install. I had to cut mine, they cut easily. I'm not even completely sure I needed them, but better safe than sorry with a new puppy. My advice is to make sure the triangles that go over the door handle (will make sense when you get them) are either cut back or folded in so the tips are against the door, as the tips can scratch you. They do reflect light, so you know they are there, but it isn't an issue.
