I have had this machine for about a month now and I am in the process of getting it dialed it. The customer support is amazing and they helped me download firmware updates for the new dinking settings. There are many shareable programs out there to choose from. My favorite it the serve, return, BH,FH drill I found on YOUTUBE. Check out John Cincola for more drills ect. I can't wait to improve my game when no on wants to drill with me!! So far so good.

Well. How to start? This is not your typical machine with one button and go the position in the court and start. Maybe with the DRILL ONE. Do not take me wrong. It is not a complicated machine. It simply has a lot of options. The other thing is the purpose. Is it for personal fun or more like you have a goal in your game that is going to be achieved by training? I think the machine is much more oriented to raise your level than "just having fun". (In fact they have a basic machine that is more fun oriented)
What I like the most?
-It is sturdy, well built. Have practiced about 20000 balls and not even one has got stuck. That's for the mechanics and electronics.
-Support. I have someone to talk to. They have helped me with an issue with my CONTROL PANEL. They were fast at the support. They were very nice. (Just know how to address them with respect and understanding)
-Being built like a tank, being the only machine that I know that has a metal construction versus plastic which brings the next point.
What I dislike the most?
Heavy. But ALSO understand that you cannot have it all. If you want something sturdy you have to deal with the result of your option. I think I read is 44 pounds. But, the other thing it is a square thing. The bottom part is not necessarily thin or slim but in my case (living in an apartment in a second floor) I have to use some material to prevent harming my hands when lifting to take it to the car.
What about the drills?
The machine comes with 12 preprogrammed drills. You can select the drills manually pushing the buttons in the side of the machine, or -more realistically- use the watch option to push a one button to select START/STOP and the drill you want to practice.
Honestly, It will be very complicated to use it as stated above. I recommend a combination of iPHONE/Android to select and change drills, and the watch to START/STOP.
The app in my iPhone is pretty decent. Could have some improvement in the way it is laid out but nothing to complain. BE AWARE THAT YOU HAVE TO USE THE APP IN LIGHT MODE (Do not choose DARK MODE in the iPhone)
WHAT ABOUT THE OVERALL ASPECTS I WISH DIFFERENT (iF I HAVE DESIGNED THE MACHINE)
-Will have probably done plastic (but some kind of strong) as the mecanics-electronics are outstanding. I do not believe it will be damaged by a ball.
-Will have a better container for balls. Some machines use the cover of the machine inverted as container. (120 does not cute it and even sometimes 100 make some to get out of the container). It is ok to change. Introduce a "new generation" that is not square.
-Bigger wheels
-A Remote Control vs watch and use the Remote Control instead the iPhone/Android.
I will finish as I started. It is a serious machine for serious players. It has it all, overall.

Here is my review of the Spinshot Plus-2 ball machine and the serving lift. I love this ball machine and the related lift! Although we just purchased this equipment, we are already having excellent success using this combination in our classes. Below are the specifics.
PROS AND STRENGTHS
This is a practical and portable set-up that can be easily transported to different sites.
The app is easy to use and easy to program and is very responsive, once it is connected.
There is a wide range of settings for speed, spin, elevation, frequency and horizontal location.
The machine does a good job of combining volleys and lobs.
Given how versatile this set-up is, the price is very reasonable, especially compared to the top-of-the-line Playmate system, which is $13,000! This set-up was about $3000.
Despite the fact that we use different kinds of balls, the feeds seem to be quite consistent.
I love that the hybrid system allows for battery and AC operation.
The lift works beautifully and is a great addition for the price! Many of our students do not practice enough service returns.
The Spinshot customer service has been great!
It is a bit of a job to line up the machine for putting it on the lift, so I have programmed the machine to do drills while the machine is on the lift. Very cool!
