This is a good value for a spoon knife. The bevels on the back of the blade should be ground down to a rounded profile, then polished. Once done it is fantastic.

Just starting to carve spoons. I think I got a little too confident and got a little aggressive with shaping the bowl, might have been a little impatient too. My own fault for not using the proper technique but I ended up with 7 stitches in my index finger, so yeh, very sharp knife.

When used properly it works great! I'm currently working and a spoon for the sauna so I'm making a fairly deep bowl. This knife is getting the job done. Hopefully no more trips to the ED in my future. Be careful out there new carvers.
