I am a PICKY Electronic Technician. I've been that way for over 50 years as a Tech. These get a good solid 10 from me FOR THE MONEY. My main reason for the 10 is that the center terminal is QUITE FIRM in grip. In these female connectors the center terminal is the first thing to cause a problem due to being too loose. These will probably never come loose. If you want a good look alike match for many McIntosh amps this would fill the requirement.

These work okay, but aren't as robust as really pricey ones. I over-tightened the first one, snapping the the threaded part off of the body. And I wasn't wrenching on it really hard. Just be careful and keep in mind that you didn't pay for a premium brand. If you are building something high-end I would go with a high-end brand.
