The dehydrator was packed very well, easy to clean and set up. We just got it so we've only made one item so far. Our dog loves the dehydrated sweet potatoes that come in small packages and cost a lot, so we decided to try making our own dehydrated sweet potatoes. Not only did she like them, she liked them better than the store bought. We're looking forward to dehydrating figs, apricots, cherries, tomatoes and everything else for us humans.

Received yesterday, and used right after cleaning. Had already prepped some beef for jerky and 4 1/2 hours later it completed to perfection.
I should add, the packing of this machine was top notch. I believe it could have with stood being booted from delivery truck and would have been unscathed. I don't recall ever receiving a package that the product was this protected. Even when I ordered my camera and the various lenses from Nikon wasn't as protected as this item was!

At first I was disheartened as there was no drip tray and this was my first dehydrator for jerky. I would recommend stating that it doesn't have one in product description.
However that was short lived as after I made my first batch. There was hardly any drippings and it was super easy to clean.
