Makes a difference in water temperature

I absolutely love this! The only reason it's receiving 4 instead of 5 is because the water colors didn't happen. Not once. BUT our pool water has been so much cooler since we began using this nifty little gadget. I never would've believed it. Even with these sweltering 100+ degree days our pool is still refreshing.

This water feature actually worked! I had to modify it (by adding about 5" of pipe to vertical portion) so that sprayers rose above the water level. But after the modification it actually lowered the water temperature about 8-10 degrees, which was great in the 100° + temps we have been enduring.

We completed our pool in May. We realized quickly that in this Texas heat the water would ge too warm to enjoy. At 95 degrees, there was no cooling off in our pool. I googled how to cool the water in a pool and these goofy things came up. My husband was skeptical but we were desperate. Many of the reviews we read said to run it over night. That did not seem to help. We decided to run it non stop and after one week there was a noticeable difference. The water temperature dropped between 87-89 degrees in the heat of the day. We ordered a second one and after a few days running both, the water was COLD! 85-87 degrees in the heat of the day. Our pool is 13,000 gallons. We were very pleased with our purchase. The only issue we had was the tool that comes with it to remove the return eye fitting. My husband purchased a different one from the pool supply store and problem solved. The pictures shown are deceiving on the water spray height and distance. But that was not a deal breaker for us. It does what it is intended and we are happy with it.

I'm order for it to work I had to purchase a difficult to find, attachment. That would have taken over a month to come and I didn't even have anyway of knowing if it was the exact attachment I needed. So I just returned it.

I was really skeptical about this product but it does what it says. It can cool off your pool but only a few degrees so if you are looking for something that will change the temperature of your pool by more than 3-4 degrees then you need to invest in something a lot more expensive and powerful. It is nice to go under the stream and feel cooler it water especially out here in Texas. I have recommended this to other friends with pools and they all agree, that it's worth it.
