Minimal Pieces, Convenient small tins

I loved this for traveling with my 4 year old grandson. It did come in 2 convenient metal tins that are easy to drop in my bag. The pieces are nice size and the colors are great. I was very disappointed, however, that there where so few colored wooden shapes. With the shapes included we couldn't even finish 2 design cards. I don't know if there's pieces missing or they only give you the minimal pieces to keep it small for travel. Definitely only for one child. My grandson loved it but was frustrated he had to take apart the one he just made in order to make a new one. Even adding enough to make two sets of eyes would help. And a few more pieces would fit in the tin. If it where possible to order just the wooden shapes, I'd order a second set!

My daughter plays with these on her own for quite a bit longer than I expected. She usually gets bored pretty quickly unless someone else plays with her, but these held her attention for a while. There aren't as many pieces as I expected but there are so many things to make so it's not a problem at all. Highly recommend
