Excellent color, and the fridge keeps things super cold, so cold you need to watch where you put soda cans on the top shelf near the cold supply air vent....because they will freeze, we have even turned the temp down because it can keep things almost frozen...so yeah this thing is working like a champ, makes no noise, and is awesome.

I bought this refrigerator for it's retro design which fits nicely in my old home, and as a single person, I wanted to downsize to something rather small. I bought the 12 cubic feet model which is on the larger end of the Galanz retro refrigerators but much smaller than my old fridge. It looks great and is a perfect look in my kitchen. When I looked at other reviews I noticed a lot of dented doors upon delivery, but I hoped that I would be lucky and not get a dented one. Unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky people who got a dented door. It was then I found out that customer service is virtually non-existant with this company. They told me that I could send in a photo of the dent and ask for a partial refund which would be reviewed within 6-8 weeks and might or might not be approved. OK..... Now I am struggling with the temperature settings which, when set on #3, medium coldness, froze and broke a rootbeer bottle, on two separate occasions. filling the refrigerator with rootbeer. The first time was right after I got the fridge set up and I thought - oh well, better not put the soda bottles at the back of the fridge while I figure out the settings. But it happened again. The second time I cleaned all the rootbeer out of the fridge and washed all the shelves which had rootbeer splashed all over, and then the glass crisper cover shattered in the sink when I set it in with the other shelves. And this is where customer service really became scarce. You cannot just go the Galanz web site and buy a replacement shelf. You can't call the customer service line and order a replacement. My call was put in a queue on each of the times I tried to call, and when it was my turn in the queue, I got an automated message that they couldn't take my call right now. No one was manning their phones. I finally got ahold of someone, not sure how with all the calls I was making, who told me to filed a claim and request the replacement crisper cover. Heaven only knows how long it will take to process this claim but they did acknowledge receipt of my claim. So now I'm waiting, and while I wait for someone to process my claim and sent me a new crisper shelf, I have lost the use of that shelf, meaning I have much less room for food storage. I appreciate the attractive refrigerator and the appealing marketing for the Galanz retro line but it unconscioutionable to offer a product and not offer replacement parts. Really, shelves? Since their shelf shatters to easily, they should really make a replacement readily available. I hope their customer service improves. I've never dealt with such an infuriating company. I'm plannning to go to my hardware store to see if they can give me a sheet of tempered glass that can serve as a temporary cover/shelf for the crisper and I'm still working on getting the settings right and making sure I dont' get anymore frozen bottles. In summary, love the look of the fridge but wish common replacement parts like shelves, were obtainable!!!

We just rec'd our 10cuft Galanz fridge. We looked hard for the right fridge to place in our home bar/game room. We didn't want or need a full size fridge and we thought the retro look would fit in there perfectly. There were other retro fridges available that were considerably more expensive, that had nearly identical reviews. We could have purchased an ordinary fridge for a bit cheaper, but then it wouldn't have had the stylish retro look we were looking for. For our needs of holding beverages and ice in our home bar/game room, as well as not taking up a tremendous amount of space, this fridge is going to work perfectly. I cannot attest to the longevity and energy efficiency of the fridge yet, so I capped my review at 4 stars. Should this fridge prove to last and be efficient (enough), I will return to upgrade it to 5 stars.

Love this fridge. I got a shelving unit on Amazon that lets me store my cookbooks right next to it.
My old fridge took up the whole space but seemed smaller, because it had two doors. The freezer side was too big, the refrigerator side was always awkwardly small somehow. This one is perfect and I love the color.
The shelves go in and out so much easier, the surface is easy to clean, and the price is far better than all the others I looked at. It's a dynamo!

Nothing bad to say. Had 6 months and working great. Best value for my money.
