I like that it wrings out very nicely. I had a 12 inch mop but couldn't find a replacement head to fit it so was glad to find this one to replace my whole handle and head.

This mop works very well in my home. I have an older version of the mop that has a bigger and longer handle. I was a bit disappointed my new mop was not as long as my old mop that I still use in the garage. They both take same sponge refill that is very easy to replace. I threw all the other not so good mops away.
My wife will rape me for this.

I finally just realized why it took me so long after I moved to Florida for me to get another Roll-O-Matic mop. Sixteen years ago the movers I hired stole my janitor supplies including my Roll-O-Matic mop. I had forgotten what kind of mop it was, and thinking about that horrendous move causes me agita all over again. Oy.vey. How many countless mops have I bought at Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, wherever, all with the same result: Crappy. Oh, you can move water around, and some of them will even scrub, but try to get the water up? Fahgedaboudit. It's a big swishy mess that you then have to use a towel or paper towels to dry the floor. But because the head on the Roll-O-Matic is not as porous as the cheap ones, it helps pull the water up, thereby drying the floor. The only complaint I have is that, like everything else, 30 years ago it was real sponge, where now it has a little different feel. HEY, I'LL TAKE IT! It's about the only mop I know of that works. I'm so happy to have it back in my life, with the exception of the agita that comes over me at the mere thought of the POS's who stole my last Roll-O-Matic. Next time I move, the Roll-O-Matic comes in the car -- with me. Pass the Tums, please.

Roll-O-Matic is the best sponge mop I've ever used. This one makes my second. The first one last almost 30 years and I only replaced it because I couldn't find the same size head for the old one anymore. I like that the new Roll-O-Matics are made MUCH lighter weight. However, this one does have a problem with the head bracket causing the head to pop out every now and then. To prevent this, I'd suggest the engineers go back to using the same heavier mechanism that the old mops had.
